5 /5 Zipporah Lovelace: MUST STOP BY IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A GOOD, HONEST MECHANIC!!! I was making my way back home from Minnesota to Georgia when my car started acting up. I got off on the nearest exit to find an auto zone (or something similar) to find out what was going on with my car. Once the diagnostic test was performed I was referred to AUTOTECNICO, LLC. Duane greeted me and asked how could he help! I just handed him the paper (because I know nothing about cars), Duane popped the hood, pulled out the sensor that was going bad and told me “sometimes those sensors can get a little dirt in them and will cause the sensor to not work properly”. Duane said that if cleaning the sensor doesn’t work, he would have the part for me the next day. That really wasn’t ideal because I wanted to get home, but if that was what needed to happen then I was ok with that. Duane cleaned the sensor for me and my car ways running like NEW!! I asked Duane how much I owed him and he told me “NOTHING, JUST GET BACK HOME SAFELY”. I really do appreciate what Duane did for me to get me back on the road!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH DAUNE AND I MADE IT HOME SAFELY!!!!

I also had a couple of other minor things done as well. The one thing he repaired looks just like it wouldve when the truck was brand new. If you need any body work done. I definitely recommend PKD Auto Restoration as the place to have it done. Hes very friendly and easy to talk to.

Jeff Obert at Caliber Collision in Effingham went above and beyond. Not only did he take the time to explain labor rates, but he offered to personally review the estimate from the original shop and compare it to what insurance had covered. He sat down with me, answered every question in detail, and even gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the shops process. By the end of our conversation, I had a much clearer understanding of how the auto body industry works and what’s typical when it comes to billing. Jeff had absolutely no obligation to help me—especially since I wasn’t a customer—but he did it anyway, with genuine kindness and professionalism. I was truly blown away by his generosity, expertise, and the way he treated me with respect and care. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly experienced in the industry. I only wish I had found Caliber Collision sooner. Without a doubt, if I ever need auto body work again, this is where I’m going.

Unfortunately, circumstances didnt allow me to coordinate for accessible rental via my insurance, but Jake did everything possible to fast-track the repairs so I wouldnt be without transportation for a moment longer than necessary.
