4 /5 Flynn: i got one of the new patient specials (full dental cleaning, x-rays, and consultation), which was around $145 or $150. im definitely not made of money and im uninsured (still in the process of getting myself a job where i can have such a luxury), but the new patient special was quite a bargain, and for excellent service too. we all know how expensive dental can be in america.
unfortunately, due to the very high quote i was given for the fillings they told me i needed done, i will most likely not be returning for that, but thats no fault of the people who work here. in fact, they were quite sympathetic to the possibility that i may have to pay a hefty sum should i want my fillings done by them, and i appreciate they didnt try to dance around it or sell something to me. they didnt quite have payment plans set up yet, but were working on it from what i could gather. so, thats good news for other future patients who might also be uninsured but are willing to haggle a payment plan. (they dont take medicaid; better off driving to east st louis if you need coverage.)
sadly, im going to have to go to a different dentist thats in network (but much, much further away) to get my fillings done given my current financial situation. nevertheless, they did all they could within their power, and im most likely going to keep returning here for my normal six month cleaning. it was very informative, relaxing, and even fun.
hopefully once i get dental insurance, i will probably just make belleville dental care my permanent choice. if youre insured, i highly recommend this place. even if youre not, i still recommend it for the cleanings, considering how affordable and efficient they are, especially with the new patient special deals. everyone who works there had a very friendly, carefree attitude and i felt very listened to and educated by my oral hygienist, becca, and the dentist megan.
