  • Lizs Nails - Plainfield Helaina Salazar: I normally go somewhere about 20 mins away but this place is 3 minutes from my house so wanted to try it! Pretty pricey compared to my normal spot.Total was $56 for something that would have cost $40 at my usual spot. The lady did give me $6 off which was very nice of her. And she did a good job. But a nail chipped within two hours after I left and I wasnt even doing anything strenuous with my hands. I used to bartend and Ive honestly never had no chip polish chip off so fast.
SuiluJ Nails - Joliet Suzette Johnson: I think the has business relocated. Please update.
Sunrise Nails & Spa - Shorewood Rachel Gonzales: This place is a joke. 2nd time there and just a worst experience. The owner burned my nails in the gel heater then filed my nails uneven and said it was my fingers that are Crooked how rude then started talking with other workers left me under that gel heater over 10 minutes unbelievable the worst service I ever had. Worst nail job ever ! Pictures tell it all.
Paris Nails - Plainfield Rose Norman: My favorite nail shop. I love that it is appointment only. I’m always satisfied with my nails. Pleasant, friendly people and always smiling, positive and happy. Relaxing and Calm atmosphere. Shelly is my nail tech and she is so nice and she always does a great job on my nails. A returning customer indeed.
Secret Nails - New Lenox Jacqueline Bettenhausen: Excellent service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted right away. I was then told to pick out a color. The pedicure with the scrub salt was wonderful! I paid $38.00 plus tip. My friends said my toe nails looked pretty, too. Thank you, Vy! I will definitely be back.
J Nails And Spa - Crest Hill Elizabeth Buch: I hate to give this nail salon 1 star because when I first went and got my nails done, I had a great experience. I went to get my nails done for my friend’s wedding. I decided to get acrylics with no color… so a sheer pink. Picture attached is from the same night I got them done originally. The owner did my nails and we had great conversation. I truly did like how she shaped my nails and how I was treated there. After I went home from the first appointment, I realized that I didn’t really like how sheer the color was on my nails. I ended up making an appointment the next day to have them painted over with nail polish so they weren’t so sheer. Let me preface that I went into this nail appointment with the intention of paying to get my nails fixed since it was my fault for not saying anything when I first got them done. When I walked in, I could feel the tension from the owner who did my nails the day prior. We sat down and the first thing she said to me was, “you waste my money.” I told her I could leave if it was an inconvenience for her. She declined and said “no it’s fine.” The entire visit we sat in silence and when she was done, I paid and tipped for my newly painted nails. I’m sad to say that I won’t go back to J Nails because of this interaction I had with the owner. I really did like how she did my nails. However, I find it very rude and unprofessional to talk to a customer the way she did. So I will unfortunately not be returning.
Sitting Pretty Studio, Co - Joliet Danielle Evans: I’ve been going to Maria for 2 years now and I’ve honestly loved every set I’ve gotten from her! She’s so good about making sure you leave happy with your nails and just in a good mood. 10/10 would recommend
J&A HOUSE OF BEAUTY - Joliet Deidre Walker: Karina does my lashes and eyebrows and she is absolutely Amazing! Not only is she super sweet she made my first lash experience so nice. She was thorough and explained everything to me and checked on me during the process. The vibe is warm, clean and top notch. I get so many compliments on my lashes and people always ask if they’re really mine or where I got them done and how natural they look. They literally last me the full 3 weeks and that with me swimming and sweating often. She warned me that they were addictive and she was right! And for my brows, I barely had to explain what I wanted. She follows my natural shape and they turn out perfect every time. I always look forward to seeing Karina and I’m so glad because this was the best decision I could haven made to consistently splurge on myself for.
Shorewood Nails Salon & Spa - Shorewood Honey: I told them I wouldn’t leave a bad review but I’m doing the community a disservice if I don’t. I had my dip nails removed (I got them done somewhere else) and asked for a no chip manicure. It all started to go downhill when she filed my nails improperly. You can see in the photo how uneven she made them. Of course they blame YOU and never take responsibility for doing a poor job shaping. Several of my nails were mis-shaped in this manner where one side was straight like a V and the other is normal and round. The amount of drilling on my nailbed was absolutely uncalled for to remove the dip. Then, as she applies the white, I start noticing it is smeared, there are hairs in the nail polish, sparkles and air bubbles in it. Acts like they don’t see anything when I try to bring it up. Lastly, they are so bumps and not smooth, as shown in the first image. The end result is absolute butchery of my nails. I cried and was so appalled at what they did to my hands so I called and said I am requesting a refund, as they completely butchered my nails. She said sorry hunny no refunds, come in if you want them fixed. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed at the work done, apologize and just give a refund. Absolutely zero customer service. So I went in and this other poor lady had to remove it all and try to fix it all. She drilled my nails down so low that my nail beds are paper thin and still hurting 1 week later. As she was doing the french tips, they were still messy and not as clean as I wanted. I spent so many hours there I told her never mind so I left with a clear coat and paper thin, sore nail beds. I feel bad for her that the girl made her come into work to fix my nails instead of just giving me my money back. I can’t even get my nails done now because I need to wait til they grow out so they can be strong again because they keep breaking off and I can’t afford any more drilling. And another thing, when I came back in to get them fixed, some random employee there comes up to me and grabs my hand to look at it. Thinking it was him who was going to fix them, I allowed him to look. Then he just walks away. How rude! Get some people skills. And nail skills while you’re at it. I understand the no refund policy but when you completely butcher someone’s hands to the point they can’t get their nails done for the next 8+ weeks, maybe it makes sense to apologize by giving them their money back at LEAST. I’m appalled at the greed.
Magda & Diana Salon - Joliet Kat Hadi: Wonderful ladies. very talented! I would definitely come back again! Sol did an amazing job on my hair!
