1 /5 Elizabeth Buch: I hate to give this nail salon 1 star because when I first went and got my nails done, I had a great experience. I went to get my nails done for my friend’s wedding. I decided to get acrylics with no color… so a sheer pink. Picture attached is from the same night I got them done originally. The owner did my nails and we had great conversation. I truly did like how she shaped my nails and how I was treated there. After I went home from the first appointment, I realized that I didn’t really like how sheer the color was on my nails. I ended up making an appointment the next day to have them painted over with nail polish so they weren’t so sheer. Let me preface that I went into this nail appointment with the intention of paying to get my nails fixed since it was my fault for not saying anything when I first got them done. When I walked in, I could feel the tension from the owner who did my nails the day prior. We sat down and the first thing she said to me was, “you waste my money.” I told her I could leave if it was an inconvenience for her. She declined and said “no it’s fine.” The entire visit we sat in silence and when she was done, I paid and tipped for my newly painted nails. I’m sad to say that I won’t go back to J Nails because of this interaction I had with the owner. I really did like how she did my nails. However, I find it very rude and unprofessional to talk to a customer the way she did. So I will unfortunately not be returning.

2 /5 Aleks Ruso: I really don’t want to give a bad review because the owner and the other employee were nice and friendly, but I really felt like our visit was too much. We had appointments at 1pm and came in early. We choose our nail polish and the owner started working on one of us removing the gel polish. 30 minutes later came the other employee to remove my gel polish. The whole process of removing it and applying extensions took 2 and a half hours. And even after so much work, our nails just had too much gel on them and the work was very sloppy. I had to ask the owner to correct mine at least 2 times and after that I just gave up. After spending 3 hours here to get a simple remove of existing and apply new gel, which at other salons has never been more then an hour and 15 min, we were exhausted and had no energy for anything else. I was very disappointed with my nails but I also just wanted to end the experience which maybe I should have done way earlier. On top of everything, the owner and employee kept switching spots and working on both of us which might have resulted in the terrible outcome and I am not sure why they did that. I should mention that in December they had a 10% off special but for the price we paid and results we got, that was meaningless and not worth it. I will definitely not be returning here.

5 /5 Adrienne Andrews: I came here with my niece for pedicures. Jennefer and Nelson were both very sweet. They were also very gentle with my niece who is only 6. I already had my nails done, but Jennefer recommended that I come back to her salon to get my next set! Since this was my first time here and I had such great service i came back the next week to get a full acrylic set. Let me say... WOW!!! Jennifer is an amazing nail stylist. She was patient and followed every design request that I had. She even told me the changing price as I requested more designs. I respect that because most nail techs do their work and charge you an outrageous price at the end. Jennefer really cares about the work she does... and she does a great job too!
