5 /5 Sam Goodman: If you don’t like traditional nail salons (like me) then this is the place for you! To be completely honest I didn’t really know what to expect when I came in. I called today around 2 and got an appointment for an hour later. I thought that was great because I don’t really get my nails done and I’m a very spontaneous person, so I do these things very last minute. The door was locked when I got there so I thought it was closed but she showed up to the door about 30 seconds later, with her dog in tow. I was a little surprised but it wasn’t a problem for me at all! I love dogs and he was very cute, just super curious about me. I really didn’t expect it to be just her in the entire salon but I found it super comfortable. I hate going to traditional nail salons because I always feel like they’re rushing me just to get to their next client, but Mary really took her time. I got a gel mani/pedi for $75 and was there for about an hour and 15 minutes. I had at home nail polish on my nails, which she removed at no extra cost. Now she is CASH ONLY!! The place looks exactly how it does in the photos and it’s clean. Mary was very polite and told me that if I have any problems with my nails to just come in and she’ll fix them at no charge. This was my first time getting my nails done in Galesburg and I really really liked it, I’ll definitely be back!

1 /5 Brittany Owens: So first to start this off this lady is very rude and thinks she can talk to you any type of way because shes been doing nails for 9 years and she does it for “fun” but that place was one of my worst experiences which it definitely shouldnt have been if your doing nails for fun anyways it was probably worse then lucky nails. I got my first fill on a fresh set and she says they broke because i needed a whole new set which isnt true because ANY GOOD NAIL tech doesnt want to ruin your real nails because you JUST got them done two weeks ago. So my two nails break sunday night and i call her and am very polite while shes literally yelling at me that i dont know what im talking about and to come now shell fix it and show me why they broke. So i told her i had to go into work but i was calling to let her know because she said she would fix them for free if they broke because she had that much confidence well now my numbers blocked and oh yeah she made me tip her 15 I gave her $10 for tip and she took the $5 back that she handed to me and said thats a cheap person tip if i could give her a fourth of one star thats what id rate hee the nail polish isnt even smooth you can see the paint lines all though it.

5 /5 Z Juling (Ju): I lOVE this place, Marrys nail salon skill is the best! I ve been here multiple time, every holiday, she did the greatest job. Now, I drove 5 hrs from my new school to Chai Hong rainbow because she worth it.

1 /5 Joshua Brandenburg: It was my first time going in for fake nails at any place and this place made me scared to try it again. I have bit my fingernails my whole life and tried everything to stop to no avail so a friend suggested I get fake nails. I was skeptical but figured Id try it. I looked on her website, didnt really understand the wording since Im new but figured a full set of squoval really short length nails would be 40-45. When I went she said it would be $65. I figured thats way to much but still decided to do it. She didnt let me choose nail type or length or anything and just decided for me what I would want. During it she was very rude and couldnt understand why a guy would get their nails done. After gluing like 3 nails on, on each hand I finally said I can go somewhere else if she would like. She got very angry, didnt want to give me any of my money back. Wouldnt take the glued nails off so I was running around downtown with 3 long nails on each hand wondering how to take them off. I happened to see KWB paints on main and thought maybe acetone would help. The lady there was very sympathetic and nice especially considering I had to of been freaking out. On a side note excellent service at KWB paints. I went home and dipped my hands in acetone and finally got them off. Long story short it was a horrible experience that has made me scared to even try to go to a nail salon again. I dont know what the service is like if youre a female but if youre a male DO NOT go here. She will make snide, rude remarks the whole time. Very unprofessional.
