Sabrina Marie Im am so grateful I found Lindsey after I moved here a few years ago. I tend to show up with a head full of uneven home trims and drug store hair color and after a few hours in her chair she has me looking like the usual me and feeling like a whole new person. You can truly tell when someone takes pride in their work, and this shows threw with Lindsey. Thanks for all your hard work and patience!

Sam Goodman If you don’t like traditional nail salons (like me) then this is the place for you! To be completely honest I didn’t really know what to expect when I came in. I called today around 2 and got an appointment for an hour later. I thought that was great because I don’t really get my nails done and I’m a very spontaneous person, so I do these things very last minute. The door was locked when I got there so I thought it was closed but she showed up to the door about 30 seconds later, with her dog in tow. I was a little surprised but it wasn’t a problem for me at all! I love dogs and he was very cute, just super curious about me. I really didn’t expect it to be just her in the entire salon but I found it super comfortable. I hate going to traditional nail salons because I always feel like they’re rushing me just to get to their next client, but Mary really took her time. I got a gel mani/pedi for $75 and was there for about an hour and 15 minutes. I had at home nail polish on my nails, which she removed at no extra cost. Now she is CASH ONLY!! The place looks exactly how it does in the photos and it’s clean. Mary was very polite and told me that if I have any problems with my nails to just come in and she’ll fix them at no charge. This was my first time getting my nails done in Galesburg and I really really liked it, I’ll definitely be back!

Brittany Owens So first to start this off this lady is very rude and thinks she can talk to you any type of way because shes been doing nails for 9 years and she does it for “fun” but that place was one of my worst experiences which it definitely shouldnt have been if your doing nails for fun anyways it was probably worse then lucky nails. I got my first fill on a fresh set and she says they broke because i needed a whole new set which isnt true because ANY GOOD NAIL tech doesnt want to ruin your real nails because you JUST got them done two weeks ago. So my two nails break sunday night and i call her and am very polite while shes literally yelling at me that i dont know what im talking about and to come now shell fix it and show me why they broke. So i told her i had to go into work but i was calling to let her know because she said she would fix them for free if they broke because she had that much confidence well now my numbers blocked and oh yeah she made me tip her 15 I gave her $10 for tip and she took the $5 back that she handed to me and said thats a cheap person tip if i could give her a fourth of one star thats what id rate hee the nail polish isnt even smooth you can see the paint lines all though it.

Z Juling (Ju) I lOVE this place, Marrys nail salon skill is the best! I ve been here multiple time, every holiday, she did the greatest job. Now, I drove 5 hrs from my new school to Chai Hong rainbow because she worth it.

XitrusGaming The hairdressers are very nice and they wash your hair with really nice shampoo and conditioner that smells amazing and the haircut I got was the best I’ve ever gotten. Do recommend!

Ava Wallace I have been getting acrylic nails for years and this has never happened! This is my first time coming to CJ nails to get acrylics. Getting the nails on was great and I loved how they turned out, but getting them off was not okay, and I think there needs to be a better way of taking acrylics off. While getting my nails off today, part of my nail got ripped off with the acrylic and began to bleed. It hurt! I got no “Im sorry,” I just got a blank stare. This especially won’t be good for work because I am a CNA and use my hands a lot, so it’ll cause some hinderance to my work. Overall the nail work was great but removal was painful.

violet sixx I’ve been going here about a year with my mom. Usually have a wonderful experience. Never had a complaint prior to today. There is one female tech there Annie. She is WONDERFUL and sooooo talented. Any design I bring her she has been anor to do without issue…. Soooooo beyond impressed with her and her husband is so kind. Today my second favorite tech was in the middle of doing my nails….. and another customer walks in saying they want a pedicure and it can only be done by the tech working on my nails. I normally will go with the flow and don’t mind switching techs as long as they can do what I’m asking. Today however, Jason tells the tech working on me to go assist this new customer… and I’m left sitting for 20 minutes to look around. Also , Jason didn’t listen to my mom when she told him what she wanted. My mom is non confrontational so of course didn’t say anything. I was a loyal customer and tipped very well to anyone who touched us… that could be 4 techs in one visit I would tip if they switched on us. Well today was extremely rude and no matter how much I enjoy Annie and her husband conversations and getting nails done by them…. My mom and I won’t be back after today.

Jordan Hahn Best set of nails I have got in Galesburg, Il !! Very professional, if you don’t know what you want she will work with you to figure out what you like. Destiny took her time to make sure I loved what I was paying for, definitely will be returning! 10/10 recommend (:

Rachel Gummerson I will never return! Went with my daughters for mothers day. They didnt even try with my 7 year olds toes... this is right after leaving. My thumb is bleeding and throbbing from being but so short. I asked her 2 times to stop filing my nails that were long when I went in. Want a disappointing waist of time and money. They didnt even offer to take any money off my total.

Jessica Belless Went in for a walk-in dip and full set with my best friend. They asked us to come back at 1 which was no problem. After getting back at 1, it was 1:30 before we were seen. Again, not really an issue but a slight annoyance. My friend had no issue with their nail technician. I, however, was not so lucky. Once the dip manicure had started, the technician mentioned how short my nails were. Yes, I will agree with you that they are short- however I genuinely have seen a lot of folks with smaller nails than me get a dip manicure. What I DID NOT like was the fact that he mentioned at least 5 times how short my nails were! How they "dont do a cuticle clean up" but they "needed to" in my case because of how short my nails were! The technician missed an entire section of my nail, got dip all over my skin, made me feel bad about my nail length-- then had the AUDACITY to say to me "dont tell anyone about this, okay?" Like he KNEW he was not being kind and professional. Needless to say, after the way I was treated, I will not be returning to VIP Nails.

Veronica Smith Got a gel pedicure and the polish on my pinky fell off in the first hour of getting them done. Otherwise the pedicure was fine. However my acrylics are a different story… the actual acrylic application is fine but the polish and design are horrible…. Only 3 stars because the price is relatively affordable

Kay Robinson They were very busy..we had appointments for 11am..almost 20 after b4 we got in pedicure chair..water Luke warm ..got the princess one.. the products is good quality. The heated neck aromatic wrap really nice touch.. But..BUT got the suppose to be luxury. But because they were busy and behind..done...totally done in less than 30 minutes. A regular no frills should last 45.

Brit This was my all time favorite nail salon in town and I would hype them up to everyone Ive spent so much money getting my hands and toes done here over the last couple years because they made you feel welcome and took their time to give you what you wanted. During a tragic time in my life they couldnt even donate $25 to benefit that was being held. My service is gone, they didnt even think twice about it and I was a regular customer!

Lindsey Heaton The staff is really nice and they work with my sister even though she has a handicap and cant hold her one hand open. Im very thankful for that. Other places wont and are rude about it. Thank you so much.

Tessie Savage I had an appointment for at least 3 weeks cause I need a certain date and time. I drove one hour to get to it. Only to find a note on the door saying closed until Monday, this was on Wednesday at 2:30.
