Kelsi Miller I got a full set and Joe was my nail tech he was very nice and he was super friendly I call befor to make an appointment and i needed I soon it was the only nail place that would take all 4 of the people that came in with me we had two full sets, one manicure and pedicure and a polish change . John, is my sisters Nail Tech We also went on a Friday and it was spring break. Other nail salons could not take us, but If you are getting a full set, make sure you go call for Joe he did mine and they were one of the best nails I ever had. He made sure that I was good with the shape and the length but you have to trust the process because he put on all my nails colored them and then shake them. I got ombre nails I had pictures and he said he could do them and I also asked for pink ombre nails instead of silver And he did perfectly fine. My little sister nail I do not know the name of, but he is really good with little kids. He made her laugh and made sure she got all her pinks on her nail that she wanted to nails Tracy‘s nails salon because it’s one of the best nail salons I ever been Will be going back

Melissa Peterson I’ve gone here for almost 2 years getting dip nails done. This past time was a horrible experience. The color I picked did not match the color they were using and when I said something after my second nail being done they assured me it was the correct color. After completing my nails I showed them that in fact the color was incorrect and all they had to say was that I need to tell them next time… which I did. Not only was the color wrong, my nail are thick and the dip is uneven especially on the sides. The top coat has specks all in it causing my nails to be bumpy and they left all the power around my nails without even cleaning it off. I’m leaving for vacation so I didn’t have the time to sit for another hour and a half to get them fixed, but this is unacceptable. The only thing they did was give me half off and tell me I need to make sure the color is correct next time. I left in tears and told my friends to cancel their appointments after this experience. Horrible.

Prittylash If I could give this place 0 stars I would I came in April 12th 4 days later my allegedly no chip came off. I didn’t want anyone to hear because I know they’re running a business. The guy was a little loud the owner. He went and fixed it 4 days again later my polish was lifting. I never knew of no chip lifting. I came from getting my daughter from school talked to the guy nicely he started getting loud laughing and acted as if it was fine. Due to the place being in Oswego I don’t know if they have something against African Americans but I’m a nurse and a human and didn’t deserve to be talked down to especially in front of my daughter. His wife came and stated that’s how he talk which is not acceptable. I didn’t get loud but very frustrated told me to get out very rude guy and lady. DONT GO VERY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR IT TO BE MY FIRST TIME.

Denise Gormley Update: this is my response to the owner. Yes, I left my review at the correct salon. You are on Cannonball Trail in Yorkville. I’m not interested in getting one particular person in trouble. But felt it was imperative people know of the unhealthy practice and cleanliness of your salon. I see people who are happy with their service there and that’s fine. This was not my first and only visit to your salon. I wanted to give your salon more than one chance. But when this happened I felt my review was important. I wish you the best, but I will not augment my review, or come back. ========••• Don’t go!! I walked away with hacked at and bloodied cuticles. I never leave bad reviews but am making an exception here because I, in good conscience, can’t refrain to report this. If you don’t know how unhealthy it is to have this done to your cuticles please google it.

My husband enjoyed getting his feet and hands cleaned up and massages hahah I was working with Zoey who is absolutely wonderful, definitely will be coming back to her. She did an amazing job on my hands. Very creative and took her time but was in a good time frame. Thank you pacific nails! Will be back!

Katie St Laurent Kenny does a great job. I always get in and out quickly. They are also great with my daughter and all her requests.

Dulce Villa My daughter was just there we normally love coming here but today Jackson did her nails she said part of the time he was on his phone and didn’t do very good job on her nails. Ana did her pedicure and did an excellent job.

Best Boopie I read some of the reviews before hand, and I was a little nervous. But overall it was calm, quiet, they got me in a little before my appointment! They hand did my nail design so they are a little off but still very cute! I do wish they used critical oil afterwards.

Ashley Allen I walked in with my two young daughters and myself to get pedicures. The man at the counter looked at us and said we are by appointment only very rudely. I was sooo excited to take them there since they had kid chairs and I had a great first time experience. Needless to say I will never go back since we was sooo rude. There was no one there at all. It’s a shame.

Amari Monae -Salon is nice -Employees were friendly -Clean space BUT….I came to get a full set of black French tips and this by far has been the worst French tips I’ve ever gotten in my entire life. As she was doing my nails I noticed there was file residue & tiny “lint” hairs after she applied the acrylic powder. I expressed that to her and she said when she files it down it would be gone. It didn’t go away what so ever. For someone that claims they’ve been doing nails for years…why are you missing/avoiding these tiny details. You’re right in front of my nails doing them while I’m on the other side of the table and I can see these mistakes! After she was done with my set. I saw airbubbles, file residue, hair in my nails. Im not sure exactly what was going on but I won’t be coming back to this place. You get what you pay for.

Maks Krassov I decided to treat myself after finishing my first semester of medical school and get a “Chill and Thrill” pedicure and it was amazing! No regrets. Will definitely be back every semester to give myself the pampering I deserve..

Bianca Bellock Chris is amazing and so are most of the nail techs there, they are very welcoming and have a great selection of colors to choose from. It took me 2 years to find a nail salon I liked when I moved to the area but once I found Venus Nails, it has been my go to spot!

Sue Million Ugly, lumpy, bumpy, sloppy, and they look like veneers. I pointed out the problem and the lady acted like she couldn’t see. Multiple nails look like this. Oh and she was rude when I pointed it out. I wanted French tips too but they couldn’t do it because of the limited color availability. They didn’t have nude powder. Only reason I gave them a 2 is bc the woman that did my toes did well and corrected anything unsatisfactory. New to the area and I won’t be back here.

Michelle Spencer I took my mother-in-law for manicures to celebrate Mother’s Day and we were very disappointed in our experience. My MIL only wanted a polish change and the tech behaved as though it was a waste of her time. The bowls for soaking our nails were filthy and the water was cold. The nail tools were not cleaned or sterilized between clients. The hand massage was rough and lasted about 10 seconds. I asked for my nails to be rounded and they couldn’t be more square (even after asking for her to round them a bit more). Less than 24 hours after receiving the manicure, the polish on three of my nails is chipped so badly that I’ll need to repaint them. We won’t be back.

Veronica Beck I’m so disappointed at this place, the ladies are never friendly. I feel like even though I just got a regular manicure I should have gotten better services, after all, I’m paying for it and tipping. The owner is very nice and professional but her ladies aren’t they are always rushing and moody. Not going back.

Sutcliff Jessica “Mrs. Sutcliff” Loius did so good on my daughters nails. She absolutely loves them. She said he was gentle while doing it. And this is exactly what she asked for. Cateye green with adding black under it to make them the shade of green she wanted. Hes so precise on he does his nails. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the talent you have.

Jessica Palomar Naley will be my and my friends and families go to nail tech! She does beautiful work and pays great attention to detail to make sure your nails look exactly the way you want them to look. Shes very sweet Im so excited to find someone to go to regularly again.

Faith Mathis I absolutely love number one nails. They are less than a mile away from my house but convenience isn’t the only reason I keep returning. They run their business in a very organized manner. If you call ahead, they will always give you accurate wait times within 5 to 10 min. Yen does a phenomenal job with detail, everything I have ever found on Pinterest she has been able to do and outshine my expectations. Nelson is fantastic with shaping acrylic nails. My big toe does not grow in correctly. I have to have filler put on it and he always does a fantastic job. Also, anytime I have issues with lifting or decided that I don’t like the polish that I chose. They are always willing to fix my mistakes. Thank goodness for #1Nails! You’re a loyal customer, Faith

Jo wo I dont get my nails done very often but when I do I have gone here! I got a halloween theme and was not disappointed.

Rajane Smith I asked for a full set with a design, she proceeded to do my nails, and continued to express I need to buy no chip to get the design I wanted. I don’t know what a design has to do with getting a no chip nail. All in all they are very rude and I see why the parking lot is always empty. If customers don’t want no chip do not force that, a 12 yr old doesn’t need a no chip polish, all I wanted was acrylic with design, she had 3 customers come in with an appointment and did not want to finish the service! If your shop is not by appointment you need to accommodate and finish the services, I was a frequent customer. Never again!

Emilie Granados PSA! Never go to nail spa 9 in Yorkville. My nail chipped less than 2 weeks in. I called, asked if they could squeeze me in. The accommodate me which I thought was nice. Well I was sadly wrong. Last time I got my nails done the owner told me he guaranteed my nails for 2 weeks and I even told all my friends about it because I thought that was awesome. Well I walked in and he made me read a statement that said they dont guarantee anything. Fine okay maybe I miss understood. But he couldnt leave it at that he kept calling me a liar and telling me because I claimed he said this, he was now going to charge me $10.00 because I was a liar. Needless to say I walked out. No way would I give my business to someone like that ever again.
