    Lee Nails - Ottawa Brie Manahan: Told the man I wanted pink cow print as a French tip and gave these 2 pictures for reference he kept screwing up to the point I was late to my appointment and had to come back to wait for an hour since he wouldn’t give a refund after saying he would if he took my nails off but another woman said no full refunds only $10 after I paid $60 also still wouldn’t do designed asked for
    Dream Hair by Mary Renee - Ottawa James Pearce: Mary is an incredible friend and professional. Ive known her for over forty years and enjoy my visits to her shop. Going to her shop is not just getting my hair cut but visiting a great friend!
    Corner Salon - Ottawa Casey And Izzys Adventures: I do not recommend this salon. I went in before Christmas time with a specific look in mind for color and came out with an awful job. My hair lost color in less than a week and that’s with one wash with cold water. I called racheal to let her know I was very unhappy with the job she did and she didn’t call back. Worst part is she charged $150 dollars for a red color that was supposed to be vibrant maybe she needed the money more then I did even though I’m a single mom on dialysis. She only left it in my hair for maybe 16 minutes the first time and it didn’t even take She was going to send me home with a discolored head. I insisted on adding more and she slopped on more color for 12 more minutes. I went to the beauty school of Peru and was charged half the job and they took two hours to get the job done right the first time. Left me gorgeous and exactly how I wanted. I was ripped off the first time, so I suggest everyone try out the beauty school of Peru my friend took me to. They know what they’re doing. What’s that saying? Do onto others…
    VIP Nails - Ottawa Maddie G: Tracy is phenomenal! I have gotten my nails done by her three times now and each time they have looked amazing. She is also very nice! I highly recommend this salon (especially if you like getting designs!).
    Lavi Spa - Ottawa Karla Head: Ive never wrote a review before but I had to this time. A few weeks ago I picked my mother up from a local nursing home there in Marseilles and was taking her back to live with me in WI. and I wanted to treat her to some special treatment so we went and had her hair cut and when I mentioned having her nails painted the girl at Cost Cutters said to go down the strip there to Lavi Spa. It was closing time but when I explained to the woman who (from my understanding) is the new owner that I just wanted to get my moms nails painted she said "come on in and we will take care of her". Well not only did the woman paint my moms nails, but she sat there and took her time listening to my mom repeat herself many times (she has short term memory loss) over and listened. She was absolutely wonderful to my mother!!!! Even though my mom doesnt really remember that day; she sure remembers "the sweet little woman who painted her nails so pretty" for her. There are many people in this profession (I know because I regularly get my nails done in WI) that do your nails, take your money and out the door you go. NOT THIS PLACE. I can not say enough for the way this woman treated my mom. She was such a joy. So God Bless this salon and I wish you MUCH success. You deserve it. Thanks from Appleton, Wisconsin!
    Ok Nails Spa - Waukegan Vienna Lundsgaard: This nail salon is honestly the best nail salon I have ever been to. I’m not from Illinois and I usually have a hard time figuring out where to get my nails done when I visit. I called different places, and finally found this salon. They were very welcoming and they even gave me a discount for the new years. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the lady that did my nails, but she was AMAZING! She took her time to really shape my nails evenly and perfectly. She was very sweet and made sure I got what I wanted. I’m so used to getting a little cut or my nail burning a little, but not here. This nail salon is truly unique. I can’t wait to start coming here every time I visit Illinois!
    Beautiful Nails - Waukegan Jennifer Sanchez: Always had a good experience and if I don’t like my set, Vince personally makes it right. Once you get your nails done with Vince, you’ll want to stick with him forever. Here’s a picture of my last set. I absolutely love them. Vince is an amazing nail artist who takes his profession very seriously. He’s very knowledgeable about his work and has all of the new up-and-coming nail trends that are often trending online. He won’t use anything that he knows isn’t worth recommending to his clients. He treats everyone who walks in the door very well, he makes everyone feel welcome and he remembers everyone’s name.
