katie moy trinh and Haley are the sweetest and are so talented. ive been there twice already and have loved the result each time! I just show her a picture of the design that I want and does a really great job recreating it. Highly recommend coming here!

Rachel Yang This is my favorite nail salon so far! Hailey is really talented and the salon itself is clean and organized. They also offer a wide selection of nail colors. Definitely will be my regular nail spot!

Jordan Landeck I go to Lovely Nails every other week for a fill and am never disappointed! It’s a very popular place so I do recommend an appointment but otherwise I’m in & out within the hour. Always love my nails.

Shannon Chapman I am from Wisconsin, so I read reviews before choosing a nail salon when I am far from home. I am so happy that I chose this one! I got in quickly and LOVE how they turned out. I didnt get the name of the nail technician, but she was very detail oriented, cleaning up my nails nicely and then giving my nails a French gel manicure. Plus, the salon was very clean, and they had a great selection of colors. I highly recommend!

Starkeshia Stewart I had an amazing experience pampering myself at lovely nails before birth! I am 38 weeks pregnant and due any day now! The ladies took very good care of me and my nails! I decided to get Halloween themed nails as a push gift to myself! I got my toes done as well. Walked in! Waited a good 30 mins until a nail technician became available. Completely worth waiting. The massage chairs are amazing. The pedicure was very thorough and relaxing! I got the cheapest package! Very affordable prices. Very professional, welcoming and friendly! I am very satisfied with my visit and will return when I need a spa day! Thank you wonderful ladies for such beautiful nails and an amazing experience!

Matt Reed Thien Nguyen was very nice, thorough, and professional. She and her colleague even gave my wife and I shoulder massages. You definitely get your money’s worth here. We will be back!

Kelsea Creamean I got a gel manicure and the technician didn’t apply the polish over my entire nail, left bald spots on the edges and didn’t apply the polish evenly. This left dark spots on my nails and a bumpy texture across the nails. Not much went into the manicure itself, I left with untamed cuticles. My manicure is chipping on day 1. It was only $30, I think that’s on the low side for gel polish in Champaign. The service was friendly, but the results weren’t great.

CKujawa Amazing work! Megan did my gel nails and did an amazing job with the line work, color selection, and art. I showed her a picture and she did amazing! They are so thin and look almost exactly like the photo. I will be coming back! I went to another salon for gel nails. They were so thick and the color was off (I was too shy to say anything! Never again). Megan took the old ones off and did amazing with the prep. She was gentle but went in so detailed on my cuticles. Also the tools are sterile and I saw her take them out of the bag. And the price is amazing!! It cannot be beat for the quality of work she put into my nails!

Jamie Turpin I am a regular customer at Studio Nails. Im extremely satisfied every time I go. They can do just about anything youd like, they have very talented nail techs. The price is never unreasonable, especially compared to other places Ive been in Champaign.

Amy Watson Amazing nails! They came out just like the design I showed them and they exceeded my expectations! These were for my wedding and I got an acrylic with gel polish. It’s been over a week and these nails have stayed on without any damage.

rue yets I don’t know what guy did my nails, but he was super nice. I enjoyed my service and he didn’t cut me or anything like that and this is the first time I’ve never been cut by a nail artist so it was a very good experience. The nails are super nice and there’s no lumps or anything like that Which is another good experience since most nails around Champaign shops they usually are lumpy. He took his time when filing and buffing my nails and the service is a 10 out of 10 The person I went with Was with this other guy and he did a very good job too. The design on her nails were awesome. The price also wasn’t bad at all. It was $77 which is a good price for these nails cause I got chrome on top and gel. The staff was really nice too, and very gracious

Torie Thoman Up-charged me without any notice - go somewhere else! I made an appointment for a full set of acrylics with gel ($52) and a classic pedicure ($30). I confirmed this with both of the nail techs before they began services. My total ended up being $98. When I asked about the total, I had been charged $8 for the length of my acrylics - seriously? It was not a ridiculously long set of nails (see picture attached). They also charged me for a $38 pedicure when I asked for a classic pedicure. Even though it is only $16 more than originally anticipated, it is the principle.

Haylie i have been here multiple times and have had pretty bad experiences. twice now i have gotten fills/full sets where they skipped steps on the nails. the shaping does not look good. they often times forget to put a base coat and top coat on the nails so within a week the gel is chipping. i have also never had them use new tools on my hands, they always are already sitting out. if u ask me, the staff here are not trained properly in doing nails as i have never left satisfied with my nails and they start to chip or fall off within two weeks. i will not be coming here again. also, they are unable to do any kind of nail art. i went to get ombré once and they were unable to do that. i then got french tip instead (as they had already started doing my nails before telling me they were unable to give me what i asked for at the beggining of the service) and the lines under were not clean and the nails fell off only a week and a half later. in the image below i got these done yesterday afternoon and both middle nails had fallen off.

Brooks Osmundson Update: Another excellent set from John! I can’t recommend him enough!! Just got a fresh set from John and the entire experience was fantastic! Booked the appointment last minute (pretty much a walk in), there was little to no wait, and while they did change up the tech on me, I really couldn’t be happier with John’s work. The shape is exactly what I wanted and he made sure I was able to give my full opinion. I left feeling gorgeous and heard Of course I got compliments from the first woman that say them!! I’ll definitely go back in 2 weeks to see John!

lisa winters We are a group of 4 that get our nails done together on a regular basis, usually every 3-4 weeks. This isn’t our regular salon but Elegant was open on a Sunday and that was the only day we were available. 1st off, I can’t have color on my nails for my job and asked for clear dip. It was a light pink but they kept promising me it would dry differently. My lady was pretty rough, we were the only 4 in the nail salon and they sat us in completely different tables like we were all in trouble. Within a week, all 4 of us had cracks in our nails. I had to go to my regular salon (Luxury❤️❤️) at 9 days and get a complete redo as 3 had already broke. They were shocked at the quality of my manicure. I paid $65 with tip and I will never return. I highly recommend Luxury, you’ll get 3-4 weeks out of your manicure!

Jessica Chtilianova very smooth and efficient experience getting french tip gel x set. $60 full set very reasonable. was able to set an appointment day of easily. was able to remove my acrylics and do a dip manicure for $55. came back to do a full set acrylics and Lindsey was very patient and efficient with the whole process! Third time was with Lindsey as well and I felt taken care of! Lee did a fantastic, meticulous job on my dip set! only downside is the chairs at this salon all need upgrading for both the customers and workers so it’s not as uncomfortable to be serviced here. My back hurts:(

Elaine Foster I received the worst pedicure ever and all I asked them to do was make sure all the old polish was off and file the rough edges I have! Around my toenails. I was told by the lady who did my pedicure that she could not get all the old polish off and proceeded to just paint over it around the edges of my toenails where visible. I asked the man running the front desk if he could try. He took a look at my toenails and made excuses why it wouldn’t come off like I must of used gel which I didn’t and that I had the old polish on too long! I just painted my toenails 2 weeks ago on my own. He seemed “put off” by my simple request and didn’t act like he even cared. He told me I needed to go to a podiatrist for what I was wanting them to do and that I was disrespecting them!!! I responded and said that I had had a lot of pedicure in my lifetime but never had a problem with anything like this and that he was the one being disrespectful to a customer. He pretty much said that they are a busy salon and they don’t need my business!! I can not believe how I was treated and I was not angry or loud for me to be disrespectful at all!! I told home I was going to go to Elegant nails down the street and get this fixed! So that is what I did!! They were very pleasant to me and filed and worked in my toes and suggested to do a little darker color since my previous polish had gotten underneath the nail and it was stained. But they fixed my problem as best they could!! ! I have no idea why I was treated that way at Express on Neil in Champaign but they will NOT be getting any business from me in the future!!! Mallika Chowdhary This was my first time at this salon and I had great experience! Mr Long was too patient while doing ombré nails and it’s turned out pretty good :) Hopefully I will visit them soon again to change into new pair of nails!

qyeen taylor If I could put zero 0️⃣ I would Where do I start all I wanted was a full set no chip My nails are crooked they’re also filed crooked when I mentioned something about it. He kept saying he was going to fix it. I still paid $60. I ended up going to my car and looking at them. I decided that I wanted to go back in and confront her about my nails cause I feel I work hard to make my money so why not get what I asked for Upon me showing him a picture of how I usually get my nails the first thing he did because it was others in the shop was trying to give me my money back and said he didn’t want any issues. I said that I am not a confrontational person I don’t want my money back. I just want my nails fixed and I want what I asked for what I paid for. He told me I had to wait 45 minutes, which ended up turning into an hour and a half. He kept switching doing my hand in another person‘s hand instead of just doing my hand and getting me out the way since I had been waiting so long he had an attitude when I was trying to explain the problems that I see that is wrong with my head. I mentioned to him that I am a licensed cosmetologist so I know when there’s something wrong with my nails I went to school for it. He kept trying to say it was the color, but I kept saying, sir. It doesn’t matter what color you put on top of acrylic nails if the foundation is not properly laid right then everything looks messy. So we reached the end of my service and he asked me is that good enough for you? Do you like them now I didn’t say anything because I sent the attitude in sarcasm and what he said then he proceeded to say you can leave now. I already felt like he was stereotyping me. I never got rude or raise my voice nor use any foul language so to be treated as such was horrifying to me and I have been to them at least 3 to 4 times so I found this very devastating. I now know this is a salon that I will never recommend to anyone if that’s how they conduct their self with their customers. As an entrepreneur myself of being in business for eight years, that is not the way how you talk to people nor handle dispute about a Service. Forgot to mention, my stiletto nails were fat, and also my square round nails, some more fat, some more thin

Rebecca Beard Me and my kiddo booked an appointment for 3:00 and they were PACKED but oh my gosh this dude was a CHAMP he did 4 people’s nails at once! Performing one step on one person, moving to the next, flying around like the wind. Even brought us waters while we were waiting. Pretty sure he was some kind of super hero. Even with all of that the quality was amazing! He got my shape PERFECTLY as I wanted it. And they were kind enough to accommodate us for the wait. 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back!

leah Q Michael did an excellent job doing my chrome nails! He created his own powder to create a light yellow that I asked for. Definitely will be coming back!

Sally Michelle I love Royal Nail — Every single time I go into Royal Nail, I leave in a better mood than I did coming in. Ellen did the dark blue, and Michael did the light blue! Both are extremely talented and own an amazing business! Every nail tech I have ever had has been so kind, too!

Brandi Anderson I came here when they first opened looking for a nail place I could rave about and call home! Michael was the first to do my nails for my wedding! Beautiful they did not disappoint!!! Then I tried his sister Ellen when he was away one day and I’ll never get anyone else to EVER do my nails while she is doing nails in this town! Mildred Vargas This was such a disappointment. I just moved here to Champaign and it has been hard to find the right nail place for me. Ive tried 3 different ones and this one seemed good at first. This was my second time coming here to Royal Nail and Spa and I LOVED how one of the ladies did my pedicure. She was thorough and took care of my toenails very well. She was excellent and am very happy with her service. My manicure was the ultimate let down though. One of the male workers there recommended for me to get a dip gel manicure and since my nails have been breaking a lot lately, I decided to try it out. The man who did the manicure was awful. He was nice and all, but seemed to want to rush me out of there. The powder on my nails are way too thick, my cuticles are a mess and he didnt even bother to clean it up properly. He didnt even use CUTICLE OIL! He told me to wash my hands, so I do and sit back down. He was already gone and I waited there like an idiot for a few minutes and the girl at the cash register was like, "I could check you out." And Im like, "Oh, thats it?" I looked at my atrocious nails and couldnt believe they thought this was good. I left there paying $113 for a horrible job on my nails and every time I look at them, I get angry. I work hard and and wanted to treat myself and this should NOT be the results. I dont know if Id go back there because they are nice and helpful and the lady who did my pedicure did a great job but they are already overpriced and the least they could is get the nails right!

I have came to this salon many times and my nails have lasted me up to 3-4 weeks without even one falling off. they can do pretty much anything you ask if you show them a picture! Lily did an excellent job and was very sweet and kind!

Alexis Godbee My sister and I were able to get in right away and had amazing service! Some nail salons act like you’re burdening them but that was not the case here. Everyone was so nice and it was very clean inside. I was happy that it did not smell strongly of chemicals like some other nail salons! We both got basic pedicures and it was probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had. My sister got acrylics and they took their time to get them perfectly shaped and painted with a shimmery ombré look. The pricing is also very reasonable. I am very happy with my experience and can’t recommend this place enough!

Sydney Leorna Lily is the go to girl!! Every time I show her a design she can recreate it and make it even better! I love her attention to detail and I always leave with a smile on my face :) I highly recommend the salon and her!
