Not only did they take pride in all of nails, they cracked jokes the whole time. Love the quality and the friendly atmosphere! My forever nail salon, and the care of their two sons and watchful eye of the mother made the experience that much more worth it. I will definitely be going back. Thank you both!!!!!

Butttttttt they was super nice and friendly (I didnt want to hurt any feelings so I just paid and left. It is family oriented which i like (I have kids so I get it) I was recommended this place and honesly was disappointed.

1 /5 Valerie Caraker: We were here 4hours the girl did a horrible job on my daughters nails. They were thick and not what she wanted $65 dollar for a $10 job awful. The guy hit my daughter in the head hard with a basketball. Thinking of suing not gonna lie. Worst ever won’t be back. Don’t waste your time.

Top Nails - Champaign qyeen taylor: If I could put zero 0️⃣ I would Where do I start all I wanted was a full set no chip My nails are crooked they’re also filed crooked when I mentioned something about it. He kept saying he was going to fix it. I still paid $60. I ended up going to my car and looking at them. I decided that I wanted to go back in and confront her about my nails cause I feel I work hard to make my money so why not get what I asked for Upon me showing him a picture of how I usually get my nails the first thing he did because it was others in the shop was trying to give me my money back and said he didn’t want any issues. I said that I am not a confrontational person I don’t want my money back. I just want my nails fixed and I want what I asked for what I paid for. He told me I had to wait 45 minutes, which ended up turning into an hour and a half. He kept switching doing my hand in another person‘s hand instead of just doing my hand and getting me out the way since I had been waiting so long he had an attitude when I was trying to explain the problems that I see that is wrong with my head. I mentioned to him that I am a licensed cosmetologist so I know when there’s something wrong with my nails I went to school for it. He kept trying to say it was the color, but I kept saying, sir. It doesn’t matter what color you put on top of acrylic nails if the foundation is not properly laid right then everything looks messy. So we reached the end of my service and he asked me is that good enough for you? Do you like them now I didn’t say anything because I sent the attitude in sarcasm and what he said then he proceeded to say you can leave now. I already felt like he was stereotyping me. I never got rude or raise my voice nor use any foul language so to be treated as such was horrifying to me and I have been to them at least 3 to 4 times so I found this very devastating. I now know this is a salon that I will never recommend to anyone if that’s how they conduct their self with their customers. As an entrepreneur myself of being in business for eight years, that is not the way how you talk to people nor handle dispute about a Service. Forgot to mention, my stiletto nails were fat, and also my square round nails, some more fat, some more thin

Salon Xpression (Champaign) - Champaign Elaine Foster: I received the worst pedicure ever and all I asked them to do was make sure all the old polish was off and file the rough edges I have! Around my toenails. I was told by the lady who did my pedicure that she could not get all the old polish off and proceeded to just paint over it around the edges of my toenails where visible. I asked the man running the front desk if he could try. He took a look at my toenails and made excuses why it wouldn’t come off like I must of used gel which I didn’t and that I had the old polish on too long! I just painted my toenails 2 weeks ago on my own. He seemed “put off” by my simple request and didn’t act like he even cared. He told me I needed to go to a podiatrist for what I was wanting them to do and that I was disrespecting them!!! I responded and said that I had had a lot of pedicure in my lifetime but never had a problem with anything like this and that he was the one being disrespectful to a customer. He pretty much said that they are a busy salon and they don’t need my business!! I can not believe how I was treated and I was not angry or loud for me to be disrespectful at all!! I told home I was going to go to Elegant nails down the street and get this fixed! So that is what I did!! They were very pleasant to me and filed and worked in my toes and suggested to do a little darker color since my previous polish had gotten underneath the nail and it was stained. But they fixed my problem as best they could!! ! I have no idea why I was treated that way at Express on Neil in Champaign but they will NOT be getting any business from me in the future!!! Elegant Nails Lounge - Champaign Brooks Osmundson: Update: Another excellent set from John! I can’t recommend him enough!! Just got a fresh set from John and the entire experience was fantastic! Booked the appointment last minute (pretty much a walk in), there was little to no wait, and while they did change up the tech on me, I really couldn’t be happier with John’s work. The shape is exactly what I wanted and he made sure I was able to give my full opinion. I left feeling gorgeous and heard Of course I got compliments from the first woman that say them!! I’ll definitely go back in 2 weeks to see John!

Modern Nails Salon - Champaign rue yets: I don’t know what guy did my nails, but he was super nice. I enjoyed my service and he didn’t cut me or anything like that and this is the first time I’ve never been cut by a nail artist so it was a very good experience. The nails are super nice and there’s no lumps or anything like that Which is another good experience since most nails around Champaign shops they usually are lumpy. He took his time when filing and buffing my nails and the service is a 10 out of 10 The person I went with Was with this other guy and he did a very good job too. The design on her nails were awesome. The price also wasn’t bad at all. It was $77 which is a good price for these nails cause I got chrome on top and gel. The staff was really nice too, and very gracious

Studio Nails - Champaign Jamie Turpin: I am a regular customer at Studio Nails. Im extremely satisfied every time I go. They can do just about anything youd like, they have very talented nail techs. The price is never unreasonable, especially compared to other places Ive been in Champaign.

Annas Nail Salon - Champaign Matt Reed: Thien Nguyen was very nice, thorough, and professional. She and her colleague even gave my wife and I shoulder massages. You definitely get your money’s worth here. We will be back!

Lovely Nails - Champaign Jordan Landeck: I go to Lovely Nails every other week for a fill and am never disappointed! It’s a very popular place so I do recommend an appointment but otherwise I’m in & out within the hour. Always love my nails.

Polished Nails - Champaign katie moy: trinh and Haley are the sweetest and are so talented. ive been there twice already and have loved the result each time! I just show her a picture of the design that I want and does a really great job recreating it. Highly recommend coming here!

Art Nails - Champaign Aieshia Moore: I went to art nails for the first time with my daughter and crystal and Jenny were amazing. Everything was great from start to finish. What we wanted we got plus better. Highly recommend art nails. We will be back.

Millennium Nails - Champaign Shauna James: This was the worst experience ever. I initially asked for a pedicure and an overlay for my nails but after being cut in my cuticle, and having this end result i decided to go else where. They didn’t refund me but after asking for over an hour for someone else to fix it, another lady finally came and assisted my pedicure and cleaned up what the other woman left. I will not be returning… They also spoke openly in English and harshly about other customers after they left their shop, while other customers while present.I didn’t feel welcome at all and I’m a great tipper and very simple customer… Normally I don’t leave reviews but after this I truly felt like I had no choice $60 later and felt horrible after I left. Please do better. Good luck!
