4 /5 Billy Moore: While I was there I didnt have a phone signal. There were things that I hadnt thought about buying until I saw them. I couldnt load the digital coupons so I missed out on the savings. All employees were nice and the store was clean and well stocked.

1 /5 Toy Simpkins: Great staff clean restrooms. That was my post from 3 months ago. Now My 16 year old grandson and i went in there yesterday. I had to look for staff to ask about a one gallon jug cooler. She said she didnt know where it was. So she looked and said if we have it, it should be here. The whole time she was looking. She was eating and talking. Had food in her mouth, just disgusting. I think this is very poor attitude. She brings down the professionalism that the staff should have when working with the public. I dont think we will be back.Even my grandson said that she shouldnt have been talking with her mouth full.

1 /5 Nathan Ryder: This store is always a mess. The shelves are never faced or organized. You have to dodge their carts full of empty boxes and crates to unpack. Most of the time its just a total disarray and not a fun place to shop.

Kristy Aukes: Very disappointed in the service I received here today. I went in for a cleaning and ended up walking out before they could finish. The hygienist scraped my teeth and flossed then said she get the doctor. I asked if she was going to polish my teeth and she said I did. I said no you did not and she shows me a half empty container and says see I did. I think I’d know if she had polished them. Then asks do you want me to do it again I said I wanted them polished but with new supplies so she waves all the new supplies in my face and says see all new. And then proceeds to just tap each tooth on the bottom and says are you good now. I’m just shocked at the treatment by her. I tried talking to the doctor but he backed her by saying the little cup is half empty so she must have. This was the worse treatment I’ve ever had anywhere and I’m sure they’ll bill my insurance for full payment. I pulled my family from this office and we will go somewhere we can trust and is more professional. ******* This is absolutely what happened in your office to me on this last visit. I don’t know why your hygienist treated me the way that she did. My family has been going to this office for years with no issues and we liked it there. But on this visit she Absolutely did not polish my teeth and then was not nice when I questioned her and I tried to talk to your son and I got pretty much the same treatment. And for you to say it is untrue is also wrong without even talking to me about what happened. I have never even seen you.. I have no reason to make anything up and I have absolutely nothing to gain. You had someone walk out upset and no one bothered to check on me and talk to me about what happened. Your hygienist though if you would listen should be reprimanded for how she treated me it was degrading and disrespectful. People should absolutely know how you really care for your clients. She could have easily made a mistake given (according) to her you don’t have enough hygienist and you have taken on more clients since some dentist in the area retired since I was last there when I ask why I could no longer get a six month visits and everyone could only get in once a year.

cynthia lyne: I BURST INTO TEARS leaving Smile League Dental, Joliet, Il. today— tears of JOY!!!! Yes, yes I did. Dr. Mo (and her staff) is the smartest, kindest dentist I have ever met. I’m not the only one to make this statement either—the elderly gentleman in the waiting room brought it up & said the same thing (how smart & kind the dentist/staff is here, best he’s ever had), to which I emphatically agreed! Can’t quite put into words just how wonderful this place really is. And I promise I know what I’m talking about— my family and I have spent a small fortune on dental work (we all have had “problematic” teeth) over the last 50 years. Not only that, I’ve only done 3 reviews in my life. I’m not writing these things up “‘right’ & left”, but when I feel they’re REALLY DESERVED, for good, or bad, I just have to take the time (no matter how precious it is, time, to me, and it is!) If YOU have ANY, ANY hesitation for calling and going to a dentist (i.e. new client & need an emergency appointment THAT day, $$, wheelchair bound, “problem” child), just ANY hesitation at all, I suggest you call this office & do it quickly. I foresee the amount of patients they can take on being filled quickly. I’m glad I’m in! Great job Dr. Mo & the Smile League Dental Staff. You should be proud! Very hard to find people like you’s these days. I will tell anyone & everyone who will listen to go to your office (by the mall). Sorry, for the “book”.

Karen Foster: Too soon to know. Had the initial look-see and very thorough xrays and imaging. The Dental technologist who imaged my teeth was quick and gentle, very kind. Impressed with their technology. The Dentist examined my oral condition & notified me of 2 cavities, so when I go back today for the cleaning and cavity repairs I will review again for that treatment. So far a-okay.

paige whittle: I’m giving 3 stars because I was put to sleep for getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled so that was the easy part. The second part is I had to pay over $600 out of pocket for this surgery n they didn’t even excuse me for work for 4 days I wanted off and they refused and only gave me 3 on top of the fact they do not even prescribe a pain pill. They sent me home with Tylenol as which did not help at all with the pain!!!! So I pay a ridiculous outrageous price and can’t even b off work the time I wanted and no pain meds!

Illinois Valley Oral Surgeons - peru - Peru

Allie: I visited IVOMS as a returning patient for implant placement in my two lateral incisors on the top in May 2017. Dr. James Vaiana placed both implants and things seemed fine for awhile, before I realized one had failed in early 2018. I had to get a third opinion before I was made aware of the fact the implant had been placed directly against my front tooth, causing substantial bone loss that risked me losing the rest of my front teeth at 22 years old. I went under for maybe 6 more surgeries, one of which he changed the procedure to a rare one without my consent while under sedation. He performed ramus grafting, in which he cut a chunk of my lower jaw out and drilled it into the front of my face. Upon review a year or so later, the bone was never actually attached to my skull and was openly visible and floating at the front of my gums, as seen in the photo attached. I had to undergo extensive and intense reconstructive surgery of my gums by a top oral surgeon elsewhere who was able to correct this horrendous job. In October 2024, I realized that the other implant was showing official signs of failure, and contacted the dentist who got me out of the malpractice mess last time, and he was able to confirm that the same thing was happening again. This implant was placed at the very front of my gums, almost missing my upper jaw entirely (as seen in the photo attached). The fact that you didnt see metal protruding out of my face was absolutely incredible. This resulted in me having emergency reconstructive surgery AGAIN, and the entire process has cost me over $30,000 to correct. Dr. James Vaiana not only broke my trust in the greatest way, but he stole my smile, my confidence, and my ability to even eat. I truly believed for a period of time that he had my best interest in mind, but I learned too late that he did every single surgery negligently. I would not with this pain, trauma, and financial destruction on anyone. Dr. James Vaiana does not deserve to be licensed, and I pray that no one else goes through what I did. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. He absolutely destroyed me in every way possible over the last 8 years and even into my future, and I will NEVER recommend people going here as a former dental professional and as a former resident of the IV.

jill emerson: This place is a disgrace to dentistry. My daughter waited 3 months for an appointment to not have this dentist even look at her teeth. He told her, "Maybe if you have a rich Grandparent?" He did absolutely nothing for her. What a DISGRACE. There should be a negative star for this rating.
