    Greg Crowley: My Volvo had a failing serpentine belt. I talked to the owner who has experience changing the belts. He was not able to work on the car this week but next and highlighted the key drop service. The next day my wife and I nervously drove the car to the shop hoping the belt would survive the trip and used the key drop. An hour later, I received a voicemail from the owner saying I could not keep the car at the shop lot due to expected snow and interfering with his plowing service. I was flabbergasted and worried all day that the failing belt may not make another drive and I could lose the engine. I would not wish the stress I endured that day on anyone. Luckily the car made it to another auto shop.

    Julio Castaneda: Amazing work and good quality services, definitely will be using this shop for years to come as it was recommended by someone locally in Rockford as myself and my wife had just moved to Rockford. Backstory: Due to a fast oil change center connected to a grocery store (Wont name the facility) they had mistakenly put power steering fluid into my brake fluid reservoir last year causing failure of master brake cylinder on my 2015 Kia Forte. Needless to say I was desperate for a fix and attempted to do this myself but wrong part was placed and caused further issues thus my desperation to find an actual shop to handle due to the complexities. Within a days notice I called this auto shop, based on a recommendation from someone local, to get a quote. My assumption was that it was going to be potentially in the thousands range but when this mechanic called me the very next morning to quote the price it was less than $400.00 to fix my brake system, which is insanely cheap compared to other shops. I let him know at 8am Monday that I am good with the pricing and to start with repairs assuming it would take him a weeks time to finish. Within 4 hours of calling to start the repairs, the mechanic called me back not only to tell me exactly what was going on with my vehicle but to let me know that it was ready for pickup. I advised him that unfortunately I was out of town and stuck at work until 5:30pm so I would not be able to pick up right away. This gentleman went above and beyond to say that is fine to come later after their closing hours to wait for me to pickup the vehicle. I arrived assuming there may be an upcharge to the repairs as many shops tend to do and to my pleasant surprise the quote he gave me was the exact price he charged me and he even gave me back the part that was not working so I could go to auto parts start store to return. To say this fix made my year is an understatement as no one wants to pay thousands of dollars to get a car they just purchased to be fixed. If you are in the area or within 45 minutes, I highly recommend you use this shop.

    Kylah Blackburn: This might be a little lengthy, but I promise its worth reading if you havent made up your mind on where to bring your car. I dont have enough positive things to say about my experience with this garage. Theyve worked on my vehicle twice in a period of less than 30 days, and the customer service was BEYOND anything I couldve hoped for. My father was the family mechanic for a very long time before he passed away in 2023. As I was leaving his funeral, a deer completely totaled the front end of my Acura, and I scrambled to find a car after that, because I needed to get to my college graduation down in TN. Fast forward almost 2 years later (itll be 2 years this December) Ive had NOTHING but problems with my replacement 2013 Cadillac. Ive put more into maintenance and overhaul on this car than I spent on the down payment for it. The first time I brought my car to Zach, he treated me very kindly and had the patience of a saint while explaining everything that they could see was wrong with my car. After the estimate, they honored a military discount to help me out and I couldnt have asked for better service. Then two weeks later, my car died, and I panicked. Bob took the time to listen to me, Zach gave him insight to the work they had just done for me, and the mechanic (bill) even offered to take me home so that I didnt have to walk home in the heat. After helping me out in the best way possible, my car is back to running (better than it did before!!) and I can truly say that these guys have me as a customer for the rest of the time that I live here in Illinois. Thank you all so much!

    Maximus Prime: Victor and ray at speedy Autocare are one of the best mechanics in town. it only costed approximately 4500 to have the motor replaced in my best friends Chrysler 200. they also gave us a loan on the repairs for the manifold which was the part that blew the gasket to blow the motor in the first place. all together it costed close to 4500$. i will tell you and promote speedy Autocare to fix your own vehicle also. They also do extensive good body detail work on broken cars too and charge less than the average business in town.
