5 /5 Connie Oneal: The staff was amazing. Dentists and oral surgeons have always made me feel anxious but I was met by the very sweet receptionist as soon as I walked in. The dental hygienist was sweet and thorough and gave great aftercare instructions. Dr Lavieri was so nice from the start. He made sure I was comfortable and made sure I was totally numb before starting and he was talking me through the whole extraction which didn’t take but a few minutes. So glad I chose this place!

1 /5 kasandra mandujano: Horrible experience for my grandma!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. She had to get a tooth removed and it was the most horrific experience for her. Doctor was not compassionate and does not care about his patients feelings. He uses old style techniques. My grandma needed x-rays and they never gave her a x-ray apron. She asked if she could get one and they responded “we don’t use them here”. When she was getting her tooth pulled out she was SCREAMING in pain. She can handle pain pretty well but she did not have enough sedatives to numb the area. We would not recommend anyone to go here.

1 /5 Jeff Bogner: Went to have tooth extracted. Doctor was very rude, made comments about my medications and how I spelled one. Unprofessional! Shaky hands. Very rough and did not use enough anesthetic even tho he knew I was in pain, he yanked the tooth out. Was in more pain than when I went in. This guy should not be practicing! Highly do not recommend!

5 /5 Kelly Reynolds: I needed to have 2 teeth, that had become infected, pulled. I was referred to Dr Lavieri by my dentist. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Dr Lavieri made sure that I was comfortable and that the numbing was complete. He chatted with me and explained everything that he was doing. His assistant was also friendly. The receptionist was extremely accommodating while helping me to find an appointment time. I highly recommend Dr Lavieri and his staff. Thank you for a great experience for something that can be very nerve wracking.

1 /5 Pamela Koziel: I have never experienced such unprofessional care in my life! I was so grateful that this office was able to fit me in last minute, but after arriving I became very anxious and unsure of what care I was about to receive. Dr.L. started off with an xray, mind u I have an infection and severe swelling in my gums, jaw and cheek. I was told to start cooperating more all because I needed them to take their time and be more gentle. His assistant was some young girl who sat in the corner on her phone and did practically nothing to assist. I was given several shots for numbing and they were not taking. Docs hands were shaking really bad as he injected one by one and I tried to asked him to slow down, again he made it all seem like it was my fault, and reminded me that they got me in and only had 20 minutes to remove this tooth. After 3 more rounds of approximately 12 shots that he did not care to do carefully, he made some very unnecessary remarks about how I get medication. Finally I panicked and had enough, I insisted that they let me up, and I was leaving before he could even begin to cut into my gums. I was almost numb at this time, but didnt wanna take any more chances. I was a nervous wreck. Not one time while I shed tears on this table was I consoled in any way, actually the exact opposite happened and was spoken to like a prisoner in lockdown. Oh and how many places do not let you bring your purse in, or allow the person driving u, to keep it? Also, when putting the napkin over my chest and neck, it was tied beyond my neck and strapped around the neck of the Gurnee/ bed. Almost like I was stuck there until they let me up! I left in tears and very frightened, Im more pain now than I went in with. Traumatized is an understatement, when I told him his bed side manner was very lacking, he Imformed me that everyone loves him!!! Wow, I am still in shock by this experience and will also be leaving a complaint with the dental society. Please be aware, This man should not be in practice. The shaking alone is not good, add the lack of empathy and its a zero star from me.

If you want a pleasant root canal experience, choose Dr. Ceresa! I did not experience any pain at all during the procedure and Dr. Ceresa explains in nice detail what takes place. My fear of ever needing another root canal is gone!

Grand Dental - Channahon - Channahon Toni Nielsen: I went to Grand Dental because my 20 year old crown broke off. Dr Katy Correa explained all my options. I decided to pull the tooth and replace it with an implant. Dr Katy made the extraction painless. She even followed up with a phone call to make sure I wasn’t in pain the next day. I’m now waiting for my new implant to come in. Dr Katy Correa has been wonderful as well as the staff. I’ve been a patient for several years and have never had a bad experience. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a smiling staff member. All services are explained with costs up front. The hygienists are all great! Not many people enjoy going to the dentist. Grand Dental makes it less stressful.

Alpha Dental Care - Peru kimi d: Was referred to this office because my usual dentist was closed for the weekend. Went in looking for an extraction of a recurrent problem tooth. Absolutely all they wanted to do was insist on $7000 dentures that they would "conveniently" finance (but not reveal interest rate, of course). Refused to do any care/procedure unless I went all in for the $7000 package. This is not an independent dental office, but a corporate monolith that sees people desperately in pain as nothing but a profit center. The only thing they will extract is your wallet. Avoid ALL locations of Alpha Dental!!!

I had to have a tooth extracted & my gum sutured, & the process went so smooth it was more like a friendly conversation. Dr. Flynns surgical technique & experise makes him an exceptional asset to the IL Valley Area. I will be coming back for any more dental emergencies or implants I require, & I suggest you do the same!

Utica Smile Orthodontics - North Utica Christine Carberry: I would stay far away from Utica Smiles in Utica il. They abandoned their patients for months on end because the ortho "had an emergency" and provided NO other doctor to follow care. They called to cancel his appt prior to this, and then disappeared. They could not provide ANY information as to when a doctor would be back, did NOT return ANY phone calls, and basically ignored any requests for more information. For over SIX MONTHS. When I FINALLY got a text over six months later, the "manager" was telling me that she has three other offices plus her own- dont cry to me about doing your job. We scheduled an appt for today, at 1pm. I left work early for this appointment, he was pulled from school for this appointment. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes past his appointment time. This is a common occurrence here. After an hour went by I asked if it would be much longer as he has a Dr appt that was scheduled based on his 1 o clock appt. They said a few minutes. I asked if for our next appt can they please make sure hes seen at his appt time so we can avoid this in the future and she tells me "its not a guaranteed time" thats literally what am appointment is and its YOUR JOB to inform someone if youre running behind. I asked to please have his records printed once he was finished. He finally goes back and when he comes out some tech comes and hands me a folder with three pieces of paper in it, and tells me those are his records. For TWO YEARS(minus the 6 mo the They abandoned their patients) three sheets of paper? I walk out to my car and see this letter. Are you kidding me?? THIS is the letter you give me after abandoning patients and cancelling appts last second numerous times? For ignoring patients phone calls and appts when they leave voicemails asking for call backs or appt confirmations and never receiving them? Damm right hus orthodontic needs would be better met elsewhere. "Orthodontic conditions tend to worse with time if they are not addressed" yet you abandoned patients for over 6 months? Ive already filed a complaint with the insurance company. Im filing a complaint with the BBB and also contacting the illinois board of dentistry. Based on what another ortho says I may be speaking to a lawyer as well. When I went back in to address this insane letter they gave me, she said well you can just hand me back the letter then, stating they didnt abandon their patients. But when I filed the complaint with insurance they definitely said thats abandonment, especially when it causes a major delay in treatment. What a horrible practice

La Salle Oral Surgery - La Salle Hayley Diane: Dr. Lavieri and his staff were absolutely fantastic!! I’m quite shocked by the amount of negative reviews as I was treated within such a short period of time with such kindness, understanding and patience. Came for a tooth extraction, left pain free and 10x happier!! Dr. Lavieri was very reassuring and explained what he was doing during the whole procedure. His assistant was such a doll and really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Overall I had a great experience!!
