1 /5 Tippy Necole: Jimmy (the name you see on all the stations saying to send the Zelle payment to his number) is the technician who did my nails. He spent the first 5 minutes speaking negatively about Dip manicure. He said the Dip took 15 mins to get off every time and I should get the Overlay instead. I said at Star Nails it doesnt. Jimmy said I wasnt paying attention. LOL! Um okaaay. Usually my nails are wrapped in foil, Jimmy put Acetone in a bowl and stuck my hands in it. He did a horrible job! He kept sticking my left hand in and out of the Dip numerous times, more than he did the right. He did not level them out or smooth out any bumps, he even got color on my skin. My nails started peeling the very same day. This was the first time Jimmy T. did my nails and its the last, I will not be back! My usual technician was booked and I wanted my Mani/Pedi done the day I needed. Nail techs and Salons are not the same, some have better techniques and provide better service, K&K Nails is not one of them.

1 /5 Eva Dotson: I been going to Helen for over 10 years she is great at doing my pedicures but I will not be going back due to the owners attitude and arguing with me that they did not charge my card when in fact they did because I put the exact amount on my card for the services and when they swiped the second time it denied the charge but it was pending from the first swipe they tried again 4 times after the initial payment then when it cleared two days later, I sent Helen a screen shot that it cleared no apology or nothing but that was the second time they tried to double charge me I just took my business elsewhere

5 /5 Janet Ferrel: I’ve been steadily going to K and K over the past 2 years- never a bad experience. I live in Chicago but still make a trip out here to get my nails done. I always get gel, and my nails never chip. At my recent visit, I got a new set and was surprised to see my bare nails were actually pretty healthy underneath. I highly recommend.

Brava Nails & Spa - Plainfield Kaiyah Bergthold: I love Brava! I’ve been going to Sunny for the last few years and I can definitely say she’s the best. I’ve been away at college and whenever I come home I make it my mission to fit into her schedule bc she is just that amazing. She’s so sweet to chat with and overall is a very caring and considerate technician. Highly recommend her care!!

Unique Nails - Plainfield Sarah Silverman: I’ve been coming here for all my nail needs for over five years. Everyone is so nice. Mary is wonderful. She always fits me in even if it’s last minute and my nails always look great! She remembers what I like and I always leave loving them. The team also did the mani/pedis for my wedding party a couple years ago. The staff was so accommodating with a bigger group and everyone was pleased with the results!

Divas Salon & Spa - Shorewood R Kutschke: Love this Salon. Very friendly and welcoming. Ive come here a couple times so far and is now my "go to"! Ive had highlights and styling done by Maddie VanderVeen and she did an amazing job. Shes also a great teacher and very knowledgeable and tells me what products are best for my baby fine hair and how to use them. I highly recommend!

Lizs Nails - Plainfield Helaina Salazar: I normally go somewhere about 20 mins away but this place is 3 minutes from my house so wanted to try it! Pretty pricey compared to my normal spot.Total was $56 for something that would have cost $40 at my usual spot. The lady did give me $6 off which was very nice of her. And she did a good job. But a nail chipped within two hours after I left and I wasnt even doing anything strenuous with my hands. I used to bartend and Ive honestly never had no chip polish chip off so fast.

Sunrise Nails & Spa - Shorewood Rachel Gonzales: This place is a joke. 2nd time there and just a worst experience. The owner burned my nails in the gel heater then filed my nails uneven and said it was my fingers that are Crooked how rude then started talking with other workers left me under that gel heater over 10 minutes unbelievable the worst service I ever had. Worst nail job ever ! Pictures tell it all.

Paris Nails - Plainfield Rose Norman: My favorite nail shop. I love that it is appointment only. I’m always satisfied with my nails. Pleasant, friendly people and always smiling, positive and happy. Relaxing and Calm atmosphere. Shelly is my nail tech and she is so nice and she always does a great job on my nails. A returning customer indeed.

Secret Nails - New Lenox Jacqueline Bettenhausen: Excellent service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted right away. I was then told to pick out a color. The pedicure with the scrub salt was wonderful! I paid $38.00 plus tip. My friends said my toe nails looked pretty, too. Thank you, Vy! I will definitely be back.

J Nails And Spa - Crest Hill Elizabeth Buch: I hate to give this nail salon 1 star because when I first went and got my nails done, I had a great experience. I went to get my nails done for my friend’s wedding. I decided to get acrylics with no color… so a sheer pink. Picture attached is from the same night I got them done originally. The owner did my nails and we had great conversation. I truly did like how she shaped my nails and how I was treated there. After I went home from the first appointment, I realized that I didn’t really like how sheer the color was on my nails. I ended up making an appointment the next day to have them painted over with nail polish so they weren’t so sheer. Let me preface that I went into this nail appointment with the intention of paying to get my nails fixed since it was my fault for not saying anything when I first got them done. When I walked in, I could feel the tension from the owner who did my nails the day prior. We sat down and the first thing she said to me was, “you waste my money.” I told her I could leave if it was an inconvenience for her. She declined and said “no it’s fine.” The entire visit we sat in silence and when she was done, I paid and tipped for my newly painted nails. I’m sad to say that I won’t go back to J Nails because of this interaction I had with the owner. I really did like how she did my nails. However, I find it very rude and unprofessional to talk to a customer the way she did. So I will unfortunately not be returning.

Sitting Pretty Studio, Co - Joliet Danielle Evans: I’ve been going to Maria for 2 years now and I’ve honestly loved every set I’ve gotten from her! She’s so good about making sure you leave happy with your nails and just in a good mood. 10/10 would recommend
