1 /5 Marissa Mickley: I am completely disgusted with this hospital the name change literally does you guys know justice!!!! I already had a Deal with unprofessionalism when my dad was just in the hospital about two months ago and I’ve already called and reported that!!!! It is 10:09 PM 4-8-2025 First and foremost, working in your guys’s profession, those nurses need to wake up. Call to know what their job really is.!!!! My four-year-old is in your emergency room with my mother and two other children right now I should Have my mother and the two other kids telling me that the nurse was gagging my daughter by shoving the thermometer down my four-year-old’s throat and annoyed because my daughter was crying!!!!! You know it’s sad that I can’t even come to the closest hospital to get my family help!!!! Because all the staff that I run into in the emergency area, clearly don’t know how to do their job correctly. Don’t know what hospitality means and clearly don’t understand that nurses are supposed to make us feel safe and take care of us. Yeah, the job is not always fun But no patient should feel like a burden in that hospital!!!! I will be calling and reporting this tomorrow to somebody higher since the staff that I talk to was so rude and Maddie that I spoke to in the emergency area since she refused to send me to registration before my mother got there and I had to go getting past other phone calls in order for somebody finally to send me to the registration and instead of telling me and I don’t know answer… The treatment that my daughter received before the second nurse went in the room was definitely unacceptable. When my mother slapped the nurse’s hand from my daughter‘s face. I should’ve had my mother call the police.!!!

5 /5 Lisa Pallardy: While it is small, it was the only OSF hospital in the state where we were able to find an available bed for my very ill father. The staff was phenomenal: friendly, patient, and caring. They were able to stabilize my father, determine the extent of his illness, determine where he needed to be for a specific heart procedure, and arrange helicopter transport which saved his life. We cant thank them enough for their kindness and care.

1 /5 Melissa: 0-10 recommend. Waiting in an ER for 4hrs to be seen is beyond measure of acceptable. Not to mention the length of time spent waiting for care after getting taken to the room, making the visit length 8-9hrs and then being told well we can’t say exactly what’s wrong but you don’t have this, so options are to stay and be admitted to the ER because we have no rooms and be monitored or go home and come back if your not better. Great advice and options… continued disappointment even now as OSF

1 /5 Haley James-Taylor: We came in for an emergency and it took them 5.5 hours to put us through triage. We are currently sitting in a room and STILL haven’t been seen by a doctor 11 hours in. ELEVEN HOURS AND NO DOCTOR! DO NOT COME HERE! No communication no nothing. But I bet the bill is going to come on time! What a joke. If you love your family, keep them far from here.

1 /5 Aaron Fagan: Don’t waste your time. If you have a serious issue go to a bigger hospital. They will just send you there anyway. There billing is also always missed up. They can’t look you up by name. They look you up by account and every vist is a different account. I called ten times got a big run around to get an itemized bill. I had the procedure done twice four years apart, but my bill went from $50 for the first time to $1900 the second time after insurance. I was trying to find out why. I let them know why I wanted it. I thought it was something to do with my insurance not paying. They would say we will send you one then I’d wait a month call. They would suggest prices have gone up. This is before inflation had skyrocketed. I’d say not $2,000 worth right? No response they just wouldn’t send me the itemized bill. This was a six to eight month struggle to get the itemized bill. I figured out finally my insurance paid the same amount as four years ago the hospital just charged $1900 more for the procedure/test. I never get things done at Ksb if I can get it done somewhere else. They have a little bit of a Monopoly which is supposed to be illegal in the US but whatever.
