I am excited to get more work done here, the staff are extremely kind and gentle. They educated me on a lot during my cleaning and exam which I appreciate the most. Usually dentists just do their thing and then you are on your way. But here today, I actually learned about what they were doing and why. Then they also gave me some tips for at home. Office is immaculate, staff are welcoming and knowledgeable.
Dr. Hyten could operate a very successful office in a large metropolitan area. But I’m glad he chose a small town setting for his expertise.
Honestly, they feel like family. Along with great care, you can count on them caring about what is going on in your personal life.
And we all share life joys with each other.

I was able to get her in quickly due to a cancelation and the hygienist was so patient and fun teaching her what each tool would do. I had bought a toy to prepare her for the appt, but we were seen prior to getting the toy. She hasnt stopped playing with it since her appt and uses all of the pieces correctly. She says she wants to be a dentist when she grows up, and I think thats due to her awesome experience! Thank you to all the staff! Smile Doctors Orthodontics - Charleston IL - Charleston Cathy Hewerdine: I gave two stars because the change in orthodontist when the most important moths of my braces were on.The first few months seemed to be going great and the assistants were great. The new ortho said that I needed to wear rubber bands the last month to fix my bite and overbite. He said I needed to wear them 24/7. I believe if I’d been treated right and the first orthohadny had to leave so quickly all, I wouldn’t now have an overbite and my chew and bite is off. With nothing more said but two words both months that I had seen the new orthodontist, and even tho I voiced my concerns and unhappiness with my bits, my braces were removed today. I feel uncomfortable chewing and I have an overbite.
