5 /5 Cheryl: Very nice park with sidewalk/trails around the whole park for walking, running, or wheeled sports. Great splash park (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day) and fun playground equipment. Theres a large fountain in the middle thats beautifully lighted at night. Multiple tennis courts, baseball diamonds, and room for soccer. Indoor bathrooms are located near the tennis courts. Free parking just behind and to the north of Central Catholic High School. Lots of space to park, unless theres a home football game! So many beautiful spots for pictures. Throughout the year we see family, wedding, and school photo sessions, especially near the fountain. There may be a permit required, but weve seen several weddings and events held in the park. Overall McGraw is great park thats well kept.

5 /5 Alison Kerrn: Beautiful park to walk around. Plenty of parking in the parking lot, nearby tennis court, water park for kids, and fountain during the warm season. The flowers and landscaping is so pretty when the flowers are in season. Plenty of seating to enjoy the scenery.

5 /5 Joshua Daily: Review Date: October 22nd, 2014 There is no relation between this park and Tim McGraw. At least, as far as I know. A park in every sense of the word and then some. Having visited what feels like every park in Central Illinois, McGraw Park has to be my favorite. Maybe I just visited on the perfect weather day or maybe it really is a magical place. ¿Por que no los dos? This place has it all. Walking paths. A small garden. The Sister City Memorial. Large swathes of beautiful acreage for having a picnic. I believe there is also a water playground and a normal playground as well. Sadly, I am not able to upload too many photos as I am almost out of storage on my WordPress account. But you can take my word on McGraw Park being a beautiful place to visit. It seems to be the size of a city block. It is that massive of a park. If you find yourself in the Bloomington-Normal area and need a place to clear your head, McGraw Park is the place to do it.

5 /5 Greg Lumb: This is a very nicely planned public space that is framed on one side by a highly rated Catholic School, and another side by residences backyards. The facilities include a nice tennis complex, a fair sized childrens play ground, baseball field, room for soccer. A nice rest room option exist and nicely landscaped walking area that has nice benches, gazebos, and picnic areas.

5 /5 Nikoli Ellis: Great park! Went and had a picnic, played some catch and had a great walk. Very picturesque scenery, with great outdoor areas. Great place for families, small gatherings or anything else. Huge parking lot and clean public restrooms.

T RS: Very nicely restored and well maintained history piece ! It takes you back in the history. The real timeline pictures displayed around house (can also be viewed from outside the house) are very refreshing the history and demonstrate the Decatur as an industrial hub ! Its located in the heart of downtown. Sufficient parking places available around the house. A water fountain, a small garden and enough benches in front of this house give the opportunity to rest and feel the history!

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend checking out the Children’s Museum of Illinois. Alicia Arroyo: We go a few times every year. The kids absolutely love this! I’ve been taking my daughter since she was the age of two and she is seven now. I would say this is perfect for a two hour visit. Good for ages toddler to about 10 years old. It gets better every year. My kids were excited to see the mountain lions. It was a nice addition to the zoo. Also the reptile room is a nice improvement over the past few years. After the zoo, we always go to the park right outside the zoo. The kids will play there for another hour or so. We also tried to do the train ride and the carousel most visits.

T RS: On contrary to the expectations, the lakeshore adjacent to the park, didnt seem to be active at the time of our visit, on a national holiday! A small walking trail, benches and a Pavilion but mostly covered with ducks and their reliefs! Maintenance could be better ! The memorial for the 9/11 twin tower is very patriotic and commendable. Kudos to the artist! The private boating activities were kind of busy ! The Ambitheater seemed impressive though !
