5 /5 Cheryl Shanks: My husband and I both had bad experiences with the last dentist. When we heard she left and Dr. Martha was there my husband decided to return and see if she could get his dentures fixed. She was very thorough and caring and took the time to get the dentures to fit correctly. My husband highly recommends the new dentist.
1 /5 Glenna Prather: I have never been scared to go to a dentist in my life. But now I am rather apprehensive to go to one. At first the gentlemen dentist was great. Than the next doctor was very rude broke my tooth sanded it down and chipped the corner of the tooth that I had a root canal on now that tooth needs to be filled. The whole time this women dentist was working on my tooth she just kept saying I would need a cap. The tooth is crooked now. She never even checked to see if the the bite was good . When she went to look at my tooth she fish hooked my mouth. Now she is gone I m hoping the next dentist has a better work ethic with more compassion and professionalism. And that they make good on the tooth the past dentist ruined after having a root canal on it.
1 /5 Sara Wilson: I went in for just a regular check up about a month ago, and I did not have a good experience at all! This was my first time with the new dentist, and I was not impressed in the way that she did things. Once I got there, I was taken back to get cleaned, and the dentist (she does the full cleaning herself with an assistant) put some kind of numbing gel on my teeth before she cleaned them. I wasnt there to get a cavity filled or have any work done at all! I was just there for a cleaning, so there was no need for the numbing gel in the first place. Anyway, she put it on very sloppily, and over half of it ended up on my tongue and down my throat. While she was cleaning, she seemed very forceful, and did not seem to care about me, the patient at all. It felt like she just wanted to get me in and out as quick as possible, and thats exactly what happened. I was out of there in 10-15 minutes, and part of that time I was just sitting in the chair waiting for them to figure out how to work the computer. Now dont get me wrong, I like a quick cleaning, but this was the worst dentist visit Ive ever had. She was brutal with the toothpaste; just kind of jamming it onto my tooth with force that I could still feel even with the numbing gel. Her assistant rinsed my mouth, but just enough so there werent any big chunks of toothpaste left that she could see; there was still a lot of toothpaste in my mouth. The dentist then began to floss my teeth, but she really just jammed the floss in between my teeth acting like she was flossing. She didnt even floss the teeth that had a permanent retainer on them, and the other people that were here before this new lady took extra time to make sure that nothing was stuck in those teeth that had the retainer on them. After the "flossing", I was given a little cup full of mouthwash, and when I asked where to spit it out (there was a sink less than 3 feet away from me), I was told to spit it back into the tiny it came in like they didnt have a sink anywhere near. Then, I was done. I came home and rinsed my mouth out with ice cold water at least 4 or 5 times, and I couldnt even feel it on my tongue, throat, or half of my mouth because of the numbing gel that she put on to CLEAN my teeth. After rinsing, I could still taste the toothpaste that was plastered all over my teeth. This was THE WORST experience I have ever had at the dentist, and normally do not review places. However, this was awful, and something needs to be done about it. There should be no need to put numbing gel on a regular person to clean their teeth unless they have a severe sensitivity, but I was asked if my teeth were sensitive, and I said "nope, not at all!" I can bite into an ice cream cone with no complications. I did not ask for the numbing gel in the first place; she just told me that she was going to put it on. I will not be returning to this office until something is done about this new dentist, and I have been coming here since I was a little kid. I DO NOT recommend this new dentist at all.
5 /5 Amy Wiley: Fast scheduling. We were able to get in quickly. Everything, from coverage to patient financial responsibility to treatment, was explained thoroughly. The staff is super nice. My kids actually enjoyed their visit to the dentist and are excited to go back!
1 /5 Laura Hamilton: My husband was charged $167 for a visit. He got x-rays that he didnt need since the dentist took one look at the tooth and said he doesnt do root canals on molars. Why would the ladies to an xray on a tooth THEY KNEW THE DENTIST WOULDNT REPAIR? They could have saved us the money and told him that over the phone when he said which tooth was broke off and in need of a root canal. Not only that this dentist referred us to his brother. Thats not right. Why wouldnt you use someone else in Midwest Dentals group? The ladies who work here are helpful and nice but the dentist is a HUGE step down from Dr. Naff. We wont be going back.

Joseph F. Avellone: At first I had trouble getting in the front door in my wheelchair, but the staff was very helpful to do whatever they could to help me be able to roll through the door! Once I inside, they took my right on for my procedures. The dental assistant I worked with was very nice and friendly! We actually went to high school together, so she knew me very well and even though I’m in a wheelchair she was able to work with me very easily! The dentist was very nice and proficient! I actually don’t have dental insurance, but I was sent to them by my VAMC dental office, so he’s going to submit to them the care I need. Then, when they approve everything he’ll start taking care of my teeth right away! I would highly recommend the Smile Team Dental Clinic for everyone!

Proteus Nachtmahr: I had an appointment here and they failed to tell me they didnt provide the services I wanted, misgendered me, and gaslit me about it throughout the appointment while still referring to me by the wrong gender. When I pointed all of this out, the dentist told me she was "sorry I felt that way" and pretended that was an apology. I recommend other trans people steer far away from this place.
