1 /5 kristine carey: Overall, my nails did get painted, but it was a very uncomfortable experience. My nail tech was very rushed until it came to the massage part. He had been on a video call the whole time, but i didnt mind. The call was minimized until the feet massage part, then he processed to expand the call and take his mask off and smile into the camera while massaging me feel. I was uncomfortable, but i didnt tell him to stop (I was afraid and wasnt sure if i was over exaggerating my experience), but I did bring it up to the manager. The manager processed to try and convince me and kept telling me it was just his wife, not anything for/about me and that he wasnt recordong. I dont care if it was about me or not, It was my feet and was very awkward. The manager kept just saying this over and over, trying to convince me it was nothing. He told me that if I had an issue, I could come back tomorrow and talk to the nail tech... very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the $55 spent...

5 /5 Savanna D.: Love this place! Nail techs here are funny and very nice!!! I’ve been going here since I was 11 and they always do a great job. Sets last a while and they don’t cost that much. I definitely recommend :)

1 /5 Crystal Pratt: I would not recommend this place to anyone. I asked for a full-set and a pedicure it was a 30min wait which was not a problem, as a walk-in this is to be expected. So, when I sat down for my pedicure the water was scolding hot after a few tries this was fixed. See attached picture for the out come of that and its not good. So on to the full set I asked for and did not get, there was very little nail prep and a lot of over polishing done. I asked for an almond shape for my nails and even showed a picture of what I wanted, but what I have is some pointy and some oval. I’m not sure how the colors of my nails are so different from my toenails but that the case here.

1 /5 Tessa Matthews: It was very busy and I was rushed in and out so they could move on to the next person. I paid $50 for dip and several of my nails were chipped within hours of getting them done. I went back to get a refund but they could only offer me a gift certificate or to redo my nails. I had them redone because I was not going somewhere else and paying another $50. My nails were absolutely destroyed and needed done that day. While the owner was redoing my nails, he blamed me for them chipping. He made the excuse that it was the type of job I had and how thin my nails were that made them chip easily. My nails were chipped before I even went to work. He also told me to eat more seafood to get stronger nails. He would not take responsibility and admit he’s the reason my nails chipped. The owner made feel stupid in front of the other customers. I will not be coming back.

Kim is an expert with nails and I get complimented regularly on having nice and pretty nails!

Vip Nails and Spa Bloomington - Bloomington bonnie: First time trying this place out.. called to see if they accept walk ins. The lady said yes asked what I was getting done Itold her it was for 3 ladies as well as what were getting. She tell me 230. We get there 10 minutes early and its still packed mind you its mothers day so I understand they were busy. What I dont understand is why they kept telling people come back in 30 minute increments. Working on me and leaving to go work on 2 other people! When you ask your technician and show her what design and how I wanted my full set done and she says yes she can do that and the end result is NOTHING like the picture.. no! My daughter wasnt thrilled about her new set. My nails didnt get the attention they deserved and it shows! 4 days with a fresh set of gel polish and they look like I had them for weeks! I wont be returning!

Kevin Nails by Mike - Bloomington Paige Prehoda: I’ve been coming to Kevin Nails for years! Recently I moved to the Peoria area and will still make the drive to get my nails done here. Tara and the entire staff are awesome!! I have a complicated pedicure and they get me right each time!

Nailsandspa - Bloomington Milena Palmer: I did my nails Last week, and I love the space and the people that work at Zen Nails Spa! Got a manicure and fell them so beautiful! The salon is always clean Best of all? Theyre priced very competitively compared to other salons in this area. Great place! Easy to go to and feel relaxed.

Fox & Hounds Hair Studio & Day Spa - Bloomington Alonnah Madson: I requested a hair and makeup trial for my wedding in August. Overall, it was a fun experience, but not what I was hoping for, especially for the price. Personally, airbrush foundation is not a great option for my dry skin and I prefer to look more dewy. The girl who did my makeup was very upfront with me that they only do airbrush and it would not look like I wanted. I appreciated her being upfront. My face felt very dry and stiff, and the lines on my face were much more noticeable. My eye makeup application was much darker than what I preferred and it looked messy to me. It wasnt very close to what I had showed her for inspiration. My hair is very long and healthy, with a slight natural wave to my butt. My style was a braid to the side. It became messy pretty quickly, so Im not sure if it was something the stylist could have done differently or if its just not a great option for my hair. Overall, I wanted to love it, but I didnt. The staff was very nice and the facility is a very cute and clean place. Paying that much for a trial to be unhappy with it was tough though.

Tristen Naild it! - Bloomington Bekkah Mather: Tristen does amazing work and goes above and beyond for all of her clients! She’s always clean, professional and gets my nails done in a timely manner. The salon is in an easy to get to & convenient location. Tristen also has the CHEAPEST nail & spa services in central IL as far as I’ve been able to find! I’ve been going to Tristen for about a year now and I always look forward to my appointments with her every 2-3 weeks!

La Nails II - Bloomington Lily: This place they were really nice. They can do designs very well. If you take them in inspo picture, they will replicate it. I have had multiple sets from love and they match them perfectly. Will be coming back. The first one are my nails the second one was my inspo pic love this place

Kims Pro Nails - Normal Autumn Farmer: Very unhappy went in with my mother to get our acrylics taken off they picked hers off with another acrylic tip and they were soaking mine off had me go sit in another booth as he started someone else’s which is fine but I sat there for another 20 min before I asked to go to the restroom. Then someone attended to my nails. As I was finished I didn’t even want to paint them but my mom convinced me to get them painted. As I was walking out I was over it I had to tell the guy 2 times I still had acrylic on my nails and that I didn’t want them cut down by the time I walked out my nails and her nails look like crap I still have acrylic on my nails and lost a bunch of length. Would not recommend as we spend 40 a piece there and it was not worth it. The guy seemed more interested in his phone than he did doing my nails.
