4 /5 Jodi Larson: Nice little off the road place for lunch or just a bathroom stop. Sandy Beach, no swimming due to the dam.
5 /5 Jean-Francois LeBlanc: Recently visited this park. Very nice views of the river and the dam. Very clean and well maintained. Enough parking too. Highly recommended!
4 /5 A M: Beautiful clean park right next to the river! It has a playground and a picnic shelter.
5 /5 Eric Quitsch: Beautiful river, only about 90 minutes from the city...nice small town atmosphere, pretty good fishing, especially for Illinois. Local canoe rentals, historic region.
4 /5 A Piper: Nice park. It was very clean and looked to have great upkeep. Decent seating areas that look to be spaced out well to create a good enough space between people at the park.

Candy Jordan: Wonderful park to walk or ride bikes, rollerblades. I play Monster Hunter and it has plenty of ore to mine and monsters to hunt. Beautiful scenery and trees to give you shade here and there. Water Park for the kids near the school. Usually plenty of parking they were redoing the one lot with asphalt so it will be really nice the next time I go.

Brian Oelberg: Hard to find but lovely spot on the Rock river. If you’re a canoeing or kayaking, this is your best option north of Oregon. There’s a dock (ADA accessible) and a paddle downriver, keeping to the right, will put you at the mouth of the Leaf River. This is a shaded, calm and pretty journey away from all the big river traffic.

Shan B: First time visiting and the trails are so much fun to walk and look at all the different wildlife and birds! We were able to see many birds and even three deer! There were many squirrels running around as well. Very well, maintain trails and a lot of active people walking them. Need to come back when the nature center is open so that way we can go inside and see what it’s all about. Great for families and everyone of all ages.
    The Peoria PlayHouse - Peoria
    The Peoria PlayHouse
ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ.: We had the Playhouse reserved for a family event through Skip Along child development where the families could come in and enjoy some time together. I was quite impressed with the things that the playhouse had to offer and its definitely a great place to bring your kiddos so they can explore and learn some things! I absolutely love all the different activity centers that they had were the kiddos had things that they could interact with like the piano bridge, the water table, the train track, and the ballroom. So much fun stuff to do and I highly recommend bringing your child!
