Pontiac Museum Complex - Pontiac Larry Sharon: Smaller than expected or remembered. Believe we visited here years ago but cant be sure. Anyway, if youre into classic cars you cant go wrong with this homage to a great American car brand that was sadly and memorably discontinued by GM so that the grandpa-shitbox Buick brand could live. Cause there are so many more memorable cars that Buick made, other than the Riviera, than Pontiac did with the Grand Prix, Bonneville, Trans Am and, of course, the incomparable classic GTO. Which is one of the reasons I buy Ford or Dodge now because GM kept Puke-ick instead of Saturn or Pontiac. But enough pontificating.
If youre into cars, visit here. The displays change frequently so you never know what youll see. Our visit had a couple of 1930s era autos including the brand Oakland which Pontiac absorbed early on. Also had an early 80s Trans Am, a beautiful convertible 70s Grand Prix, and, awesome of awesomes, a 1970 GTO Judge. Stop by, peruse the cars and displays, make a donation and enjoy losing yourself for an hour or two. This is definitely worth a scheduled stop in your day.

Livingston County War Museum - Pontiac Николай Баранов: This is not a museum, it is a real treasure for history or military lovers. I cant believe this place has so few ratings and reviews. The elderly people who met us on this vengeance were incredibly passionate about what they were doing. I can say that this is the work of a lifetime. I met the owner, whose name is David. He is a Vietnam War veteran. His father founded this museum. He is a veteran of World War II. This is an amazing story. Each military uniform in this place belongs to a specific person and you can read a short biography of this person. This is incredible. We also saw a huge amount of weapons, ammunition, uniforms, models of equipment, various parts from airplanes, cars, bombs, newspaper parachutes. In general, everything connected with almost all wars of the twentieth century. This is much more than just a museum. This is part of history, part of the lives of the people who work in this place and the people who live nearby. I recommend this place to visit to everyone who is nearby. It seems to me that you need a whole day to see everything that is there.
Pontiac Oakland Auto Museum - Pontiac Riley Leavitt: This place is a car lovers dream! Everywhere you look, you can find something awesome! Definitely check it out. its a true gem of Pontiac
Dargan Park - Pontiac Nikol Richards: Gorgeous Park that houses the Seasons of Life statues. It does have a playground and a pavilion with picnic benches.
Humiston Woods Nature Preserve - Pontiac Dan Faust - Glory Days: Humiston Woods Nature Preserve is one of Livingston County’s hidden gems. With several miles of well groomed trails, the Vermilion River, Wolf Creek, a kids fishing pond, several pavilions, picnic areas, a canoe landing, and much more; the Humiston Woods Nature Preserve is a great lace to enjoy nature and relax.
Kickapoo Creek Park - Lincoln R. U. Lost 2: What a great park! Tis the season and nature is putting on quite a show! From the color in the leaves to the deer grazing in the opening. It’s hard to imagine a more enjoyable place to enjoy the changing seasons!
