They always call with an estimate. I literally have a 27 year old Aerostar van and Rusty has kept it on the road. I cant recommend them enough. More than once Rusty has brought the old part out to show me what exactly had happened to it- not that I even asked, he just did it! Theyre cheap on mounting tires as well, I had 4 tires I had bought from Amazon put on my pickup truck and Rusty did new stems, weights, balanced, they ride like a dream ,zero road noise now! They didnt quibble in the least and were more than happy for business mounting tires they didnt even sell. LOVE these guys!

Honest work and only does whats needed Very reasonable. Highly recommend!! Unfortunately theyre not able to assist me w my present VW diesel I appreciate their honesty in not taking on something they cant handle.

1 /5 Rebeccà Knox: Spent 1000$car still doesnt leave drive,everytime I took it to him it ran fine for a week or 2 then something else would go wrong,then he wouldnt work on it anymore,after putting 1000$ into car!!!!sorry to say ,I wouldnt recommend taking your car there,you will get robbed,and have no car,STILL!!!!!

Ron Bloom: Tuffy in Springfield REALLY cares about their customers! Traveling for a meeting to Springfield from Blue Island last month... as we got in late a night ... noticed the brakes were "soft" ... then, parking the car noticed a stream of brake fluid ... not a good feeling at all. Fortunately, after calling around other local repair shops the Tuffy Tire and Auto Center was recommended . Every shop is busy ! But when Tuffy answered their first concern was to ensure my safety. That alone speaks volumes. They rearranged their jobs to fit me in (as i was leaving later in the next day) ... they diagnosed the issue ... showing me each step what had to be done, completed the work, and took a test drive to make sure no other problems surfaced! A belated heartfelt thank-you to Gary Williamson and the entire wonderful Tuffy team in Springfield! What a local treasure! ~Ron Bloom

Kiya: I’m not sure if it’s too early to write a review, but I’m very pleased with their service! As a full-time worker and college student, I felt secure and comfortable leaving my car with them. My car is running so much better now, and they completed everything in just a couple of hours! Before working on anything, they called me to discuss the repairs and provided the price upfront. I wish I had remembered the names of the staff members because they were all so nice. I truly appreciate the comfort they gave me during the process! As a 19-year-old who has had not-so-comforting experiences when fixing up my first car, I am just super happy with my experience! This is my first real and new car so I was nervous just leaving it with anyone. I got a wheel alignment, new tires, and suspension. They were worried about my traction light but it did reset itself! So I have no lights or sensors on my dashboard anymore! Thank you guys so much for squeezing me in! Sorry for such a long review but I need you guys to know how much this experience truly does mean to me!
