5 /5 Dawn Marie Joseph: Schwiebert Riverfront Park is a wonderful park for families & children. I have been to this park many times with my son when he was a young child to play and enjoy the water features. This weekend I was able to enjoy many talented artists share their skills doing sidewalk art and listening to live music. Thank you Rock Island for providing riverfront family friendly activities!
5 /5 Rachel Koch Gonzalez: We stopped here to play at the playground and have a riverside picnic. The pavilion was a perfect spot for our lunch, and the playground was a true hit. The kids loved it. Well maintained- folks were walking through emptying trash and cleaning up while we were there. They do a good job keeping this a nice spot.
5 /5 shawneecop69: 5/31/2025 Great event, fun, lots of people, Great food. My philly steak was on hit
5 /5 Team 2 Gils: Nice little park to stop at. Quiet today, last time I was here they had a farmers market and a band. Nice spot to just walk around.
4 /5 Mike knott: A quiet, comfortable way to spend a relaxing fall afternoon. I can only hope that the outdoor entertainment stage has some exceptional summer events, and does not sit idle. My wife is a shutterbug and took a good amount of pictures from every angle, in particular the maple trees which were turning the perfect color of fall. There is a small play area for the kids and there were many taking advantage of a perfect November weather (70°!).

Victoria1775: This is a military base so you have to register at the MP check in building, I didnt know that but it didnt take long to do & honestly they cant just let anyone just drive in so I understand that. We stopped at the Atomic Cannon & the other artillery pieces. I was so excited to stand by a Sherman Tank there of the 4th division in the Battle of the Bulge the very same tank, division & battle my grandpa was in, when I was little I remember him telling me stories of how driving a tank was easier than driving a car & of his first tank being hit & destroyed he & his company made it out alive, they were assigned to a new tank, he was only 18 years old then

Susie Dalton: Beautiful setting right off Springfield Lake. Plenty of trail under dappled sunshine.. we saw Carp spawning in the grassy part of the lake. Also enjoyed watching a deer, eating tree leaves and grasses. There were also squirrels. Huge trees lined the pathway. One tree was estimated to be there since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Alas three is dead but still standing, towering over the younger trees. Can you imagine all the stories the old timer could tell?
