When I checked out, they confirmed that there would be no cost, so I thought I was good to go. However, three weeks later, I received a $200 dental bill, and they claimed that I was only partially covered. This feels like a scam and is an unfair practice. I also found their customer service to be unhelpful. Additionally, there are no private exam rooms; everything is exposed, and I could hear conversations and treatments happening with other patients just separated by a curtain. I wouldn’t recommend this dental office, as everything appeared old and outdated. Please stay away from this place.

I came in with two teeth that required crowns—one from a broken tooth and the other from a broken filling. As someone who experiences extreme sensitivity to pain and temperature, I was incredibly impressed with how attentive Dr. Clark was. She made sure I had the proper anesthesia before proceeding, which was especially important to me as a Black man, often underserved in pain management. Dr. Clark is thorough, detailed, and took the time to explain the entire process, including next steps. The office itself is spotless, the wait time was minimal, and all paperwork was handled easily online. Their text message management for appointments and follow-ups was convenient and efficient. I highly recommend West Loop Smile Studio for anyone looking for quality care and professionalism!

And to my fellow Filipinos, you will not regret choosing this clinic for professional dental care as they always check-in on you, ensuring your comfort during and even after your visit! Downtown Dental - Loop - Chicago Katie Daley: I was a bit anxious after not having been to the dentist in a few years, but Johanna, the hygienist that I saw, was so kind and compassionate during the x-rays and cleaning. I was completely at ease. She talked me through everything she was doing and checked in throughout to make sure I was feeling ok. My teeth felt so smooth afterwards! I am incredibly thankful that my first visit back to dental care in a while was such a great experience! Then I saw Dr. Noor who was also very friendly and thorough. I did have some follow-up treatment to schedule, but she also seemed conservative, explaining what should be treated now, versus what we could wait and monitor. I appreciated that approach. She also answered all of my questions. Everyone else in the office that I encountered was really friendly and considerate. They seemed to all get along really well, while also maintaining a very professional environment. I’ve only had one visit to Downtown Dental (loop) so far, but based on that experience, I would definitely recommend it - especially if you see Johanna and Dr Noor!
