1 /5 Amelia Santa Cruz: I love this salon. Al does a wonderful job. I’m always getting compliments on how good my hair looks. Edit: I used to love this salon. I made an appointment to have my bangs touched up, a service they have always offered for free since I get my hair cut there. Upon walking in I was told by Al he didn’t have time for me. His wife had to come out and explain I had called and made an appointment. I should have left. He proceeded to talk to another client about how annoying it was to do work where he didn’t make a lot of money then bragged about buying luxury cars for all his children, which they then totaled. He punished them by buying them more cars? He was rude while cutting my bangs and then proceeded to charge me $15 telling me it would have been free if I get my hair cut there…which I have multiple times. Very rude and bad service. I don’t care how good you are at what you do, I don’t deserve to be treated like human garbage and charged for it because you’re having a bad day. Other reviews make sense now and I won’t be back.

5 /5 Lili Sahakyan: Fantastic salon and superb professionals! They know what they are doing, from the haircut to styling to color. They also teach you how to blow dry your hair, what products are good vs. not good for YOUR TYPE of hair. Very personalized approach. My only regret is that I don’t live close enough to Chicago to visit them more often. However, I plan my trips around this salon so I use an opportunity to pamper myself in their services. All their staff is super friendly, making you feel at home, while also holding high professional standards and boundaries. I love Zeza salon! 5 /5 Bridget McGrath: I have been going to Zeza Hair and Salon for over two years now. I have worked both with Al and Tarik, co-owners, and Rena, salon specialist. I have always been treated with respect, received high quality care and often receive compliments on my haircut immediately upon leaving the salon. The salon is bright, well maintained, and all staff are professional, warm and welcoming. They work around my hectic schedule and are always willing to find a mutual time that works. I would highly recommend their services.

I followed her from her previous salon to Zeza and couldnt be happier.  Great location, great space, and most importantly...great haircut.  I have been going to Renata for 7 years. She is the best stylist Ive ever had.  Rarely when Im in a bind and need to get a haircut Im always disappointed when I dont go to her.  She is very detail oriented and a pleasure to talk to.  She is an American Crew Educator so she knows all the trends in mens styles.  I have and always will recommend her to everyone. You will leave very happy and satisfied.
