1 /5 Lucas Bray: Nice place to shop, but youll never see the money if you drop stuff in to consign.
We brought about 6 large boxes of clothes in maybe 6 mo to 1 year before they left the original location downtown. Some of the items were a sport coat and brand new suit coat, 3 pairs of new Adidas shoes, and multiple womens pants and shirts w/tags still attached.
We received a small check for $25 and change a few months after we dropped the items off.
We went into the new location several months after they opened to make a purchase and ask about the rest of our items. They said they put out about 2 boxes worth and that sometimes the stuff goes into storage so they cycle peoples things in and out. Also, they had recently moved, so it could be because of that.
They were going to go through their storage and see where the rest of our stuff was because they hadnt sold anything else.
We left our information again and she and her son was going to dig and call to let us know when they found our stuff. This was last summer. Since there were long sleeves and pants we thought we would wait until after the winter rush, but we still havent heard anything.
Its very disappointing. We didnt expect to get rich, but there was some really nice, new stuff in there and we should have gotten more than $25 for all of it.
It just feels sneaky like they took our stuff and kept everything for themselves.
Should have just taken it to Goodwill.
