Abbey They were able to get us in the day I called even as a new client. They were kind and patient with my daughter. She had a broken tooth and was in a lot of pain. Her previous dentist didn’t really care. We will definitely be coming back.

Clout I never leave reviews on google, but if i can help 1 person then this will be 100% worth it. DO NOT come to this dentist office. My mother and I came in for our annual 6 month cleaning and got worked on by a Doctor with a hijab. Now me and my family are Muslim for context so we had no issues with this whatsoever we started having issues when she inspected our teeth. My mother and i both brush, floss and rinse with fluoride at least twice a day. She told us that we have 3 cavities each, but couldn’t point them out on x-ray or show us physically using her mirror. Then after our cleaning she told us to “come back fast because your teeth rot faster than your mothers because you are younger” that didn’t make no sense to me. A few months later i went over to Bradley Dental and got a cleaning and a second opinion and it revealed i had 0 cavities and the dentist even complimented how well taken care of my teeth are. DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE SCAMMING FOR INSURANCE!!

Maia Coleman (ZERO STARS)Yall I walked in here and waited like 30 minutes for a consultation for braces, only needing minor changes. Mind you I’ve have braces already and my teeth are basically perfect, I just couldn’t keep up with my retainer. The dr. was convinced I was crazy for coming in but I’m a perfectionist lol. And then she told me I needed braces for “8-11” months???? (She only looked at me for all of 3 minutes)This not my first rodeo honey I’ve already been through this process and majority of the work is done so in what world would I need them for that long?. 4-6 months honestly is all I need. And then on the paperwork she sent her assistant back in with listed “12 months” girl bye and not to mention customer service is horrible you can feel that they really don’t care for their potential clients.

David Denison Before this experience, family dental was a great place. They did a lot of work in my mouth. A lot of feelings got partials and a couple other things done which was good experiences. I go to the dentist today. It was at 5:30 PM at the end of the day so I get a doctor His name is Dr.Mirca I asked him to look at a couple teeth on the bottom roll of my mouth right away. He says you need a root canal he put his finger in my mouth didn’t really look and I asked him. How were you able to tell that quick? Oh, I’m able to tell on certain teeth I said how is that just by looking I could tell uncertainty it’s hitting your route. He tells me so we go back-and-forth and I felt like he was kicking me out of the dentist. I was scheduled to come in at 5:30. I probably wasn’t on his list for the day. He was probably getting ready to go home and that’s the way I felt poor customer service if I ever get this doctor again I will walk out immediately.

Kali Hester I recently visited Shorewood Family Dental and had a wonderful experience. The office was very clean and the front desk staff was so welcoming and so kind over the phone when I initially made my appointment. This was my first visit with them and will definitely be returning! My hygienist Kelly was so sweet and very knowledgeable! She was easy to talk to had my cleaning done quick and painless! Dr. Funk was great and really seemed to care I’m about my concerns. Thanks for a great visit, I can’t wait to continue care with you! ☺️

They had cartoons on the tv already, showed them the tools they were going to use, let them touch them too so they knew how it would feel. Extremely accommodating and very kind. Mary Joe Russell They were great with my 4 year old who was there for her first cleaning and exam. They made her feel relaxed and welcome. I love the atmosphere and decor there, its very calming. They did X-rays and a very thorough exam and cleaning on her, talking us both through it all and engaging her in pleasant conversation. She was excited to get a goody bag and take her picture outside with the big giraffe statues. My other 2 kids love coming here as well. Would definitely recommend them, especially for kids and teens!

Josette B What was supposed to be a routine checkup and cleaning turned into my feeling like the business transaction was more important than my needs. My "treatment plan" did not make me feel comfortable, especially when the financial persons attitude changed when I expressed that I needed to discuss the finances with my husband. My 1.5 hour visit did not include a cleaning, and I couldnt see myself continuing my visit for at least another hour for a deep clean when I have gotten regular 6 month cleaning for the last 2 years. A second opinion was sought and found a deep clean was not needed. Sad to say I did not get the warm and fuzzies from this office.

She sang with my baby, was very patient and talked her through the process and my daughter now loves the dentist. This office always has great customer service and everyone is so nice but Kim made this trip even more special. I love this office and I am so happy we got to have Kim.

Jill We have been going to Troy Dental for several years and the service has dramatically declined. I set up an appointment 3 weeks before and when I got to my appointment, Troy told me it was impossible for me to be given any because there was no dentist that day. This happened 3 months ago. Last week, I set up an appointment for my son for 10 am today and when my son went to the clinic at 9:55 am, the lights were off, and he got a text saying his time was moved to 11:30 am because thats when the dentist will be there. Will not be going back. Also, I had my implant done and until now I still have not been seen since then so my tooth with the implant is still open without a crown. No one has reached out to me and when I do, they would say it is because my insurance is not yet cleared. I instructed them to conference me in when they call the insurance, and they have not done so. When I called back, they said it is being handled by one of their staff and that staff is always not available to talk. I must say though, the dentists they have are excellent. It is really the front desk and how the clinic is managed, which of course is not controlled by the dentists, but by management.

Rachel Behling I cannot say more great things about this office. Customer service here is amazing!! I had a root canal procedure done here and internal bleaching- I had an overall amazing experience. The front desk staff (specifically Liz and Isabelle) were so thorough, friendly, and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Dr. Parth Nanavati was the doctor that did my procedure and Shane assisted. They not only did a great job with explaining exactly what was going to happen during the procedure, but they also were just all around very friendly and surely made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands. My teeth feel and look great, and I felt little to no pain or discomfort during or after!! All around, I could not recommend this office enough. 10/10 experience!!!

He is compassionate & works out payment plans for whatever insurance doesnt cover. Is recommend partials from this Dr, their very comfortable. Front desk girls are helpful. Mariana helps with payment plan arrangements/insurance/appts kindly.

They’re unprofessional, They have had nasty attitudes, The dentist is ignorant she made accusations and unnecessary comments to me because my daughter needs a lot of dental work done to her genetics on her dads side not because I neglected her oral care. The girls at the desk don’t understand anything you say it’s like talking to a wall and the dentist cancels appointments at the last minute (I know emergencies happen and that is why I was understanding) When we were finally able to get back in for an appointment there was a Ton of construction and car accidents on the interstate so we were running a little behind (We drove from over an hour away) When I called to inform them that we would be a little over 10 minutes late they said they could no longer get us in. You would think that maybe they would have accommodated us for canceling on us last minute the time before (Like I stated above I understand last minute emergencies happen but that’s what happen in our case also) Not to mention they’ve advertised that any appointments after being 15 minutes late may result in having to reschedule, We were under 15 minutes. I would recommend going to “All star dental” in Aurora IL they’re a lot better, The dentist is more educated, More understanding they make accommodations (Especially if you drive from far away) The one dentist there also doesn’t make you feel bad as a parent because your kid needs dental work and actually explains to you that her specific needs is due to genetics and she does as much as possible while we are there Even a few thing’s that were not planned she still squeezed us in because we don’t live close and her assistants are very kind and comforting once again I recommend Aurora not Joliet.

The doctor showed me x-rays and explained everything. His entire staff is incredibly patient and kind. I definitely recommend this company for wisdom teeth removal and probably any other services they offer. My experience was painless. I was back to work the next day and the doctor checked in every day for the first few days to make sure I was healing properly.
