    Laura Rittenberry: I have been coming to charter on/off for a couple years now. I will say, the new manager has done a absolutely great job giving the gym a makeover. Its much cleaner, the new layout rocks and the free weight section is the best! Whenever I have no idea what I am doing with a machine, Dom and Steve are always there to answer my questions and give me advice. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere there is always positive, and has fun music playing. Charter in sycamore is by far one of my favorite places to be! Great job guys!

Many services offered including multiple classes with instructors who are always willing to accommodate any needs and modify work outs, tanning, sauna, free weights, cardio and weight machines, basketball court in progress.

    Carl Scamp: Excellent place to work out at. It has the feeling of a very private fitness center but is very inexpensive. Meagan, the owner, is a nice person who seems to enjoy this business substantially. The fitness goers will actually at least smile at you, and many are not afraid of greeting you.

    Anita: Super clean and lots of space! Even an entire room with turf for sled push/pull! The owner was super kind and answered a call around 8 pm, helping me get into the gym, which was perfect for what I needed! Day pass worked out great for being in town short term.

Thankfully, I met with Andrew, the owner, and my fears quickly dismissed. Andrew has cultivated a great gym experience. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about fitness. Andrew meets you where you at helps makes your goals a reality. I have also had the pleasure of working with almost all the trainers and my experience has been universally positive. If you are looking to get in shape but nervous about finding the right gym, this is the place for you.

    Michael Cichon: Im not the type of person to write reviews but I definitely need to share my experience at VASA in Wheaton. This location opened up less than a couple years ago and Ive been a member since. For me personally, the pool, saunas, and steam rooms were a huge selling point and have been a fantastic way to de-stress after a long day at work. Ive been really wanting to get into other areas of the gym in general for years now but have been very cautious due to a bad injury I had awhile back. So I decided to give their Personal Training a try just so someone can correct my technique so Im not hurting myself when Im on my own. 

My goal initially was to only train for a few months to get the technique down before going off on my own but that all flipped when I started training with Logan. Results came QUICK and I was pretty blown away so I decided to extend the training program to see how far I could go with it. After about a year of Personal Training, my Fiancé got involved and now weve been training together for the past 10 months. Easy to say we’re trying to look good for wedding pics. We’re pretty bummed out because Logan recently moved down to Arizona but we’ve been continuing our training with the GM, Ryan, who’s also a fantastic trainer. Ryan is working on his doctorate in the health/exercise field and he’s been taking a scientific approach to our training for maximum results. Every session with Ryan had us feeling very challenged and definitely sore afterwards! The only downside we’ve encountered is figuring out how to walk up a flight of stairs to our apartment after one of Ryan’s leg days! Weve had such a great experience with the gym and especially the personal training aspect. 10 stars if we could.

    S. Cathy: My husband and I joined a year ago. It was nice and quiet until they had an open house. Then the facility became crowded and treadmills were all being used. People not wiping down machines after using them is a real problem or on their phones while relaxing on machines. Management needs to step in.
