  • Life Time - Warrenville
    Life Time
Via C: Just like any other LifeTime. That being said it’s always great here. Staff is commonly helpful, and the pickleball courts are nice. Machines are kept fully functional and clean. You pay a lot to get facilities like these, but this is definitely the best place to invest for your health.
    Orangetheory Fitness - Wheaton
John Brennock: Highly recommend OTF, especially the Wheaton location. The program: Workouts are flexible, based on how much effort you can give. Wide variety of class types and workout times. You are pushed to do your best but not so much that you hurt yourself. One hour is appropriate amount of time for the workout. The people: Coaches are supportive, encouraging and provide helpful feedback/assistance with the workouts where needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Other people working out are generally welcoming and friendly. Overall great experience!
    Anytime Fitness Wheaton - Wheaton
Edubs1733: Ive been coming to this gym for the better part of a year, previously other locations. Recently, Ive noticed a downturn in the facility. Wipea are running out, machines being broken for months on end with no signage or fix, dirty bathrooms, etc. Its convenient for me due to proximity to my house, but I am going to start going to other locations that are better equipped.
    Planet Fitness - Wheaton
Joe Lopresti: The people are nice, and it has a lot of cardio equipment. Unfortunately that is about the most positive thing I can say. This gym is no longer keeping pace with other Planet fitness in the suburbs. Size is medium compared to newer spaces, it feels a bit cramped. There are some other issues that really keep me from coming back. There is some deep down dirt on the floors around the machines and in the smaller spaces. Nobody does a deep clean at this location. There are tears and worn down parts in some machines. The curl machines especially are awful. Worn through pads on one and grindy clunky feeling on the other. There are spots in the floor that are stained and torn as well. And a leaky air conditioner. It just doesn’t say clean and healthy to me. It says worn out and neglected. The selection of resistance bands needs to be replenished. The men’s urinals and sinks needed a good scrub when I was there but they do vacuum and mop the floor in the mens room so that helped.
    Chrouser Sports Complex - Wheaton
Kara Grace Hess: Fun but sometimes equipment is hard to access due to having few machines and less equipment. Music depends on the day you go, but the vibes are reliable.
    Brickhaus Fitness - Carol Stream
Scott v: When traveling I always look for a gym to train at. Found this great gym, fitness location. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. A solid selection of machines and free weights. More my style of training, hard-core. But, something for everyone.
HOTWORX - Wheaton, IL - Town Square - Wheaton
Elaine Toledo: I was an out of town visitor and just saw this location, purely by chance, when being driven to my hotel. I’ve heard of Hotworx because of social media and have always wanted to try it since there are barely any locations in Northern California. I called in and spoke to Diana - the brand new manager of this location - and let her know I was from out of town and asked her if it was possible to pay for a one day class. Diana was super kind and patient and insisted I come in for a free class and then continued to be patient when I asked what I should wear, what to bring, and what the different classes were. I ended up booking a HOT ISO. When I arrived early to sign the waivers I was greeted by Brittany and she was SO great - she walked me through the gym, the process, the finer details - every little thing. Then, after my class I knew I had to sign up and Brittany answered every question (I had a LOT, including hard ones like cancellation policy and freezing the account). I cannot say enough good things about this location. Diana was so patient. Brittany was so kind. Even the other patrons were encouraging and asked me if I liked it and told me to sign up. I can’t recommend this place enough. Super great workout - hard in the best way. Lots of sweat. Totally worth it. I booked a class first thing tomorrow morning. Cannot wait.

Martin Johnson: Ive been a member for over 20 years ... working with great fitness trainers. The equipment is constantly being upgraded. Locker rooms clean and amenities provided. Wife played tennis for many years and now into pickleball. She also enjoys the Spa which is open to nonmembers too. Relaxing lounge with free coffee/tea (updated coffee bar) and theres an area called "The Boardroom" - quiet space to catch up on emails etc. Opens at 5am so you can get an early start.
    FTX CrossFit - Wheaton
Orlando Harvard: Gym - 10/10, Culture - 10/10 , Coaches - 10/10, Vibes - 10/10. I only got to drop in from out of town, but right off the bat I knew I was in the right spot. Super clean, organized, friendly, and just great fitness. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough.
    Pure Barre - Wheaton
Katie Bircher: I can’t say enough good things about Pure Barre Wheaton! This location is wonderful. The teachers and staff are wonderful and so kind! It’s not only a fantastic workout, but it’s an awesome community! Barre has become more than a workout for me, it’s become apart of my routine that I love. So glad that I joined!! -Katie (Bircher) Williams
