Tom Fenninger: I love this gym so much. It’s MASSIVE and never super crowded so there are always available machines. The locker rooms are nice and huge and I love taking advantage of the lap pool. They really care for their members and have a full calendar of athletic and social events for members to get to know one another. I haven’t taken advantage of any classes or the spa but I plan to. Love it here!
UIC Sports & Fitness Center - Chicago
Stacky Line: DON’T COME HERE if you’re coming for the dance rooms. Staff told me I had to rent and pay for the room every time, even as a student who comes alone. What’s the point of paying for a >$50 membership if I can’t use the only facility I paid for? Makes no sense to me. I bought the membership ONLY for the dance room and to be told this news is extremely upsetting. I’ve been here multiple times by myself now and I’ve never heard of this. Asked front desk for clarification and they said I have to pay student org rental price for the rooms? Which doesn’t make sense because I am not a student org. He said he will talk to the managers about it but I would recommend to go to SCE on UIC’s East Campus for dance rooms. Their dance rooms are open to membership holders if there are no events going on. Will not be returning again.
    Anytime Fitness - Chicago
Kathryn Brest: I’ve been going here for about 6 months and it’s been great. The place is always clean and management is good at getting things fixed in a timely manner. I love that there’s 24/7 access available, makes it really easy to fit a workout into busy schedule whenever I can.
    East Bank Club - Chicago
    East Bank Club
karina k: If you join as a couple, it is a lot cheaper than paying $275 per person and if it’s a couple is $455 for two people. The location is beautiful because it’s right on the river and you can suntan on the roof and lots and lots of people going swimming so it will be more of a social gathering benefit Jim in some ways. But seriously this place is massive and you will find everything you need here. The location is beautiful however, the closest blue line station is grand and it’s about a .8 mile walk from the CTA. And there is really not much parking here unless you are lucky to find street parking or street metered parking.
CrossTown Fitness - West Loop - Chicago
Kiera Suwyn: I appreciate that Crosstown offers childcare and it is the reason I have been consistent for the last year. The classes are challenging and engaging. The trainers are encouraging and no two classes are ever the same.

Rev Reviews: Guys up front were incredibly rude I had a guest pass and they declined to let me in saying that it’s after 9. I respectfully asked if I could buy a day pass and they said it would be $20 to which I said no problem and this other guy goes actually I cant let you play basketball. This other worker goes I can sell you a membership for $70 a month that’s the only way you get in today. I said no he goes yeah no other option but I can sell you a pass. Worst experience at a gym ever the level of professionalism is 0. I’m personally in sales and have been doing it for over 5 years and always strive to make the consumer happy so they return if your management here at this location look at your night crew for 11/25 and reconsider them for a janitor position because they deserve to scrub toilets with how crappy the attitude was. I never leave bad reviews but nothing about these guys was positive.
    Majestic Fitness Chicago - Chicago
Skushhh: I parked in the Majestic Fitness parking lot for less than five minutes to grab a shake from Fragola before heading straight to the gym. When I came back to drop off what I had picked up and go inside, there was already a boot on my car. I was forced to pay $170 on the spot just to get it removed. What made it even worse is that they asked me to pay either by physical card or Zelle, which seemed really suspicious and unprofessional. $170 for less than five minutes is completely unreasonable, especially since I was actually planning to go into the gym right after. This experience left a terrible impression — I won’t be coming back to this gym
    Leblon Fitness Club - Chicago
Cait Rill: Leblon is such an amazing gym. If you like a boutique, smaller gym that has all the things you need, this is the place. Its in a great location and a great price compared to other options around. It was a nice gym to go to, everyone just minds their own business and the culture is very supportive. The gym is CLEAN and truly just amazing. Gustavo is very friendly and communicative via cell to help with any issues and even to welcome you to the gym!

gergana terziyska: I tried the gym for six months. I signed up for a Pilates session, and when I canceled my membership, they said they would refund me my charges, but they never did. No one ever reached out, and the guy at the reception even hung up the phone on me.

carol montgomery: Joined two months ago impressed with cleanliness in gym and locker room. Some staff greet you upon arrival. Mostly go in the morning it’s busy but not crowded. Like Body Works class with Becky Jo and Zumba with Lupita. My only complaint when classes are in session people should not be allowed to come in and do their own workouts on the side. Really like this location
