Pat B Our garage door didnt go all the way up when we had a recent polar vortex. As a result, I knocked off the dolphin cover over the antenna when backing out of our garage. We brought my Lexus to Mike. He was very professional and gave us a written estimate. After the part we ordered came in, we called him to make an appointment. The car was ready in one day! (They even "tested" the new cover to make sure the seal was solid by power washing the roof to make sure there were no leaks.) I also had two scratches on the bumper. We asked for an estimate on the scratches, deciding to get them repaired, as well. The car was ready the next day. They even washed my car for us! Reasonable prices. Solid attention to detail. Polite and professional staff. Highly recommend!

David Fry Renfro Auto Center just picked up another lifelong customer. I had a tire with a slow leak. I called to see if I could make an appointment and they told me to swing by any time. The mechanic found a screw, removed it, patched it, and sent me on my way at no charge. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Renfro is friendly, helpful, honest, and local. What more can you ask for in an auto shop?

Jeremy Taylor I stopped in to the Wheaton AAA to pick up an international driving permit a couple days before my trip to Poland. I was super impressed with the facility and the service. Its a one-stop shop for everything AAA does, insurance, car care, membership, you name it. I was in and out without an appointment in maybe 20 minutes tops, and that included taking photos, filling out the application, and payment. They didnt even charge me for the photos because they said Id had to wait longer than they planned. This level of service makes me want to become an AAA member! Well done!

Kevin F I made an appointment for an alignment and they refused to even look at my car after I told them it has OEM factory rear air suspension. They could have at least put it on the alignment rack and checked it. The owner is a very rude old man that said “we don’t do air ride” thinking I have some aftermarket suspension. They used to have great techs that worked there and they all left because they don’t treat their employees well. AAA member here and very dissatisfied.

Fourtech Electronics Needed inspection done on the work truck land went to this place first time. All the mechanics are awesome, not trying to sell in any way. They told me what I need replaced. That’s what my truck needed it to run the wright way.

Bruce ONeal We have been using Holsteins garage for decades. They have been taking care of our cars and trucks throughout the years and give us excellent service. One thing I would recommend is to let them know youre coming ahead and they will set up parking for you. Mark Holstein and Mark Holstein Jr are one of the most honest, respected, and friendly mechanics I have ever come across. Ronnie Holstein is like a Ninja, he works on everything from lawnmowers to large semi trucks. They do phenomenal work at a fair and decent price, and get the job done quickly. They will also address problems that you didnt realize you had. They always will call ahead to see if you want that work done as well. The fact that they found another problem was great and its good to know they are out for your safety. Most dealerships will charge you double the cost of what Holsteins charge and the work will not be done any better. Highly recommend them fantastic decent people.

Joe Dema Only good things to say about this garage after all the years. They always explain what their doing clearly, good pricing and very honest work. They went out of their way to call the local dealership about a part that might be under warranty still. Which it was, so they saved me $900 on something they could of easily gone ahead and replaced. Highly recommend!

Timothy Noetzel I have been taking my vehicles to J&C for well over 30 years. I have always been given a fair price and the workmanship is excellent, from very small to considerably large jobs (like a snapped drive shaft on a van). They also are great at solving those quirky issues that other shops give you a "deer in the headlights" look to fix. My most recent issue was diagnosed correctly (bad wheel bearing) when original repair shop and dealership both missed it. With repairs, you get what you pay for. But with J &C you get something more than you paid for.....reliability.

Allie Lundberg RIPOFF REPORT: I had my car towed here because they had great reviews. I didnt know what was wrong with my car. I was told by J&C that it was the alternator and was quoted $430 to replace just the alternator, $250 for the part and $150 for labor. This seemed like too much so I called around to KRAGES auto and was quoted $315 for the same job. I called J&C back to ask if they would match the quote, the woman on the phone told me that the owner does not price match. I asked if they would meet me somewhere in the middle of the two prices and was told no. I am so glad that I told them not to do the work even though my car was stranded at their shop. Do not get your car towed here or they will price gouge you and try to rip you off too. Go to KRAGES, they are actually honest. (My boyfriend replaced the alternator for $150 himself, saving me in the end!!) They may do good work, I wouldnt know, but they do price gouge and they do ripoff customers. You can do better.

Katrina Foley The staff was very nice and helpful. They were able to get me in the same day for a tire leak. They were able to locate 2 leaks on the same tire and fixed it promptly. Thankfully it was an inexpensive fix and offered suggested maintenance for my vehicle and available promotions.

Echo Shout out Angel, Emily, and Mike for always giving my car the best service. At Firestone, they show me tests they ran, and can walk me through the physical evidence so I can make the best decision on when to get a part serviced. It’s an honest business in my experience. They’ll be a lot more up front than say certain dealerships who will just stack services for the sake of mileage instead of need.

I took my car in to fix my air conditioner and received a detailed explanation of why it was broken and how they planed to fix it. All costs were delivered over the phone up front before they began service, and I received an extremely detailed complimentary inspection. The results of the inspection were also discussed over the phone before any additional service was done on my car. In addition to that, everyone I spoke to from the time I made my appointment to the time I picked my car up was very friendly and addressed every question and concern I had. This is the only repair shop I’ve been to that I truly trust.

David Parker Friendly, honest, and professional. Great local shop. Oil change & a full inspection of the entire vehicle for a fair price. Shared pictures of things on the vehicle that needed service, and then called to walk me through everything. Worth the extra money compared to a Jiffy Lube or similar joint. Absolutely reccomended.
