Sajed Delicious Food, very good service, nice decor and vibe inside, very clean, and very attentive staff. Best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had and steak was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust.

Michael Big big props to the management and staff here. Everyone that works out there has always been super friendly helpful and patient. Theyre also very knowledge and passionate about the food. The dining room has always been really well maintained too. Theyre always preparing fresh ingredients so everything tastes good and fresh. I also noted in my visits that the staff is really good about getting their customers the best deals on what theyre ordering, encouraging use of their app and steering people away from the smaller bowl because its only marginally cheaper but limits your options significantly. The huge variety of beverage options also deserve a huge shoutout!

Amy L. Celebrated my birthday there and there was a band outdoors on the patio but ate inside after listening to some jazzy-dinner music for a bit that was quite pleasant! The cocktails and wine was great, the service was efficient and our entrees were superb! I loved my twice baked potato and my Baxter salad. My daughter’s brussel sprouts were good too! Lots of sides to pick from ! The complimentary gooey cake was delicious! I had a fabulous birthday dinner with my family!

They’re an Illinois staple that recently opened a location in Kennesaw, Georgia, and Chicago natives were thrilled to get a taste of home. Folks unfamiliar with Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef, on the other hand, were busy complaining about the “wet” sandwiches. Some people just don’t get it. Funny thing is, I was driving through Illinois when I spotted a Portillo’s sign for the first time ever and decided to stop. Best decision. The woman who helped me—didn’t catch her name—was super friendly and walked me through the menu. I ordered a croissant sandwich, added hot peppers, and got the gravy on the side. Baby… heaven. And the French fries? They took me straight back to childhood. They actually tasted real. I even downloaded the app, though I missed the cutoff for the free fries—my bad. Still worth it. The restaurant itself was a whole vibe, from the décor to the energy. And let me tell you, the real surprise hit in the restroom: spotless, and it smelled fruity—like cherries. Yes, that matters. Ryan L Brooks This particular Texas Roadhouse is the best in the USofA. It’s usually a pretty middle-of-the-road option or maybe it’s close to the interstate so you wait out the traffic jam there. Not this one. We’ve been to this location dozens of times. The steaks are perfect and the margies stiff. Rolls come out endlessly and the wait staff always seem happy to be there. I’m not exaggerating. It’s a local gem.

Yogie I had a really great experience at Black Dog in Champaign. The food was genuinely delicious, and the burnt ends were the clear highlight of the meal for me. They were tender, smoky, and full of flavor in a way that’s hard to find anywhere else. It felt like every bite had the right balance, and it made the whole meal really memorable. Patrícia I recently visited this amazing Mexican restaurant and I must say, they offer generous portions of delicious food at a great value! Its truly a treat for your taste buds. While the service can sometimes be a tad slow, especially during busy periods, the majority of the staff is incredibly warm and eager to assist you with any requests or help you find exactly what youre looking for. Give this place a try if youre craving some tasty Mexican cuisine without breaking the bank!

Beth Thompson This place has a lunch special, which consists of a slice of pizza, most of them under $5 a slice!! They have the basic choices (sausage, pepperoni, cheese) and also offer a slice of the week. This option is probably the main reason why this was our top pick for a meal because we can never seem to agree on the same type of pizza for all of us, so we all got to choose the pizza we wanted. We also ordered the breadsticks, which are at least a foot long each!! We left with full bellies and very little to take home, also spent less than $30 for the 3 of us to eat a hearty lunch! The food was very good!! Will definitely suggest this place to others and keep it as an option when we are in the area.

Derrek Line Overall a great place to visit and will return. Food options were amazing. From higher priced, better quality, to lower priced but variety of flavors, such as a wasabie slider, buffalo chicken slider, honey Dijon, endless options for all. Service was very nice and had jokes, which I always enjoy. Drinks were a little pricey, but for the area was to be expected. If in the area and wanting a light meal for cheap, this would be my go to.

We had a good time and joked about our friend getting an impromptu ice bath challenge when the waiter dumped ice water in his lap. Unfortunately, the app will only let you reserve for up to 6 people ahead of time. So, our group of 8 had to call ahead to be put on the waitlist. Its not a huge deal. It wasnt that big of a deal, just something to be aware of. As for parking- a semi or RV can not park there. The parking lot was just too small to fit a large vehicle like that.

Alex Estrella Amazing small town diner! Amazing vibes. They have pancakes 24 hours! Milkshakes! Yummy burgers. What more could you want the prices are dirt cheap and very impressive. They clearly care about the community. For that reason its always packed on weekends so I personally prefer to come at night but would recommend nonetheless.

Kimberly Nguyen Went an hour before close from working on remodeling/ construction. Felt self conscious coming in covered in paint and exhausted but hungry. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Wait from ordering food was within 5 minutes. Very fast and food was piping hot. The portions were huge so well worth the money. Including alcohol. Holiday special margaritas were dangerously tasty. I made a mistake with the tip being tipsy and manager came out and fixed my error on the kiosk and refunded my self over charge. Embarrassing but the staff really made me feel welcomed.

Lexie Vross It was a perfect spot for us! It had just the right amount of options, if you love pasta! The prices were great and the atmosphere was perfect for date night. It was my bf’s birthday and our waitress treated us to a birthday sundae and extra bread! However, we waited a while to finally order but our food was quickly brought out. I had the short rib ravioli, iI would try something new next time. My boyfriend had the chicken Parmesan and absolutely would get it every time. Our total bill was $50! I would recommend making a reservation!

TheKing848 Honestly a great experience. Food was awesome, atmosphere is perfect, and our server Jillian was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She not only took great care of us, but made my daughter’s day by swapping bracelets with her. Would highly recommend and will be requesting her again.
