Bairds Auto and Tire. - Normal (IL)

2 /5 Hannah R: I took my car there for an oil change and a tire rotation. Everything was fine they talked me into an oil flush which I was fine with. Paid and thought everything was done since I paid for all the services. Get my keys back and my tires weren’t rotated. I have one off brand tire and it was in the same spot it was in when I pulled in. My tire pressures were all off by 2+ psi. Last I checked if you rotate tires you check tire pressures. So I called and brought the issue to his attention. He got the tech and of course they side they rotated the tires but didn’t check the tire pressure who would tell their boss they didn’t rotate the tires that’s part of their job. They offered to pull cameras what’s that gonna do for me? Nothing. He told me I could come back and they would fix it. Wrong their not getting my business anymore just because I’m a women I’m not suppose to know shit about cars or what is and isn’t suppose to be done? I mean professionalism and care goes along way. I own multiple cars and they just lost all my business.

5 /5 Amy Knauf: Ive never been to this local business before and I sure am glad I received a coupon in the mail for an oil change. Its first come first served, but I had time. I am so impressed with how polite their staff is. While you wait, there are drinks and snacks. Wow!! I will definitely be back, even without a coupon.

1 /5 Brandee Klieber: I made the appointment for an alignment online which was easy to use and quite convenient. I was able to get the shuttle after dropping off my car. They called me after about one hour to say that my tire rods were bad and ask if i wanted new ones installed. He said it would be $360 plus the 100 for the alignment. He said it’d be done at the end of the day so I could come then. I show up at 4:45 and now my total is $690. He claimed he quoted me at 500 but he also called me asking for someone else so maybe he got confused. Incredibly frustrating because what can I do now at this point? Argue about what was said in a phone call? Anyway, they gave me a print out of the alignment measurements and there are still a majority of numbers outside of the recommended range. I’m no expert but that doesn’t seem right to me. After a week of driving, the car doesn’t drive any straighter. A waste of 700$.

5 /5 Mason: This places truly understands customer service. Prices were phenomenal, amenities were great while I waited. I will say that for a standard fully synthetic oil change I did wait a little longer than I usually do, but it was quite busy when I arrived and they only accept walk ins for oil changes. I did not care about the time, however, as the popcorn in the lobby kept me occupied!

5 /5 Ann S: Took my vehicle in for an oil change to my dealer, and left with an unexpected diagnostic review that recommended $4200 in additional service work. That same day, I received Baird’s flyer that offered free reviews of estimates recently received. Blair’s took a look at my vehicle and all the recommendations.They found really only 1 item (My Brakes) that needed immediate work. They did a great job at an affordable price. I know I’ll be using Blair’s for service in the future. Rafael and all the others were friendly and reliable! Thank you!
