I recently had 4 crowns done in one day I was scared but she made me comfortable got my temps on next day got my permanents I Love love them. Thank you Dr Yanna !! Also want to mention the front desk helped me tremendously with insurance and helping me with options for payments. They have all the new technology that makes your visit so much better. . I hate the dentist as many of us do but don’t have to be afraid here. Thank you everyone
Dr. Michael J. Szurek, DDS - Woodstock
Leix Dental - Village of Lakewood Debbie Skrandzius: Dr. Leix and her team are awesome! They take their time giving you a thorough exam and cleaning. They will take your pulse, medical history etc. You even get a nice warm neck wrap while you’re being examined. She has many services for her patients! I’ve been coming here for many years and I highly recommend you see for yourself!
Marengo Family Dental- Dr. Strohschein - Marengo Barb Weidner: Monica is a friendly and very thorough hygienist. Dr. Strohschein is attentive and does a good job with tooth repairs.
DentalWorks & Orthodontics Crystal Lake - Crystal Lake Sky Ayalla-Schock: Updated to add: This dental practice has an endless flow of 1 star reviews. Wow. I didnt even realize. I guess its a good thing they turned me away. The call center really needs to update their information. They tell you they accept your insurance and then you show up and find out they dont. I came for an EMERGENCY and was turned away and they werent really that apologetic at all. They say it happens all the time.....like what???..... to top it off, that time I spent driving there I could have been being seen for my EMERGENCY by someone else. Absolutely ridiculous. Extremely unprofessional making people suffer in pain longer than they need to because their company cant get it together. Outrageous.
The McHenry Dentist - McHenry Nicola Begley: This place is a revolving door for Dentist. Its like its the only place that takes Doctors right out of school. My child had a root canal and then told he has to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed before capping the root canal. It took almost a year to finally get a hold of the oral surgeon and make an appointment. We set the appointment for the cap and all of a sudden he has 4 cavities and in between teeth so that would be a lot of unnecessary drilling that could damage other teeth, and was most likely caused by doing the root canal. They refused to cap his root canal until this was done. Dr. Samson is the dentist who my child was seeing. Hes condescending and extremely rude. He thinks hes better than everyone because hes got a dental degree. He said "Its not my fault your child doesnt floss, thats a parenting problem." Instead of being a village and helping me to make my child understand how important it is to floss cause us parents know how hard it is to get our kids to understand repercussions. And how our children think were full of it. Do not bring your children here, they will turn a simple procedure into a large one to make money and get practice for their careers. They dont care about the patient, they are more worried about their career and money!
Everyones Family Dental - McHenry Anita Claudio: Love the staffs willingness to help. Love the spirit nice Halloween decorations. Dr. Very nice and patient with my grandson very friendly with him. All staff amazingly wonderful.
Dartmoor Dental - Crystal Lake Nikole Brangenberg: Highly recommend! I never leave reviews but my front teeth were damaged after an accident and he had to reconstruct all of it. With it being such a critical space I was very nervous. Dr. Dave made my teeth look better than they were before the accident. Nothing but smiles over here!! I can’t say enough nice things about the quality of work and the staff. Welcoming, Warm and Friendly. Doreen always makes you feel right at home! 12/10!
Kay and Amanda Henry DDS - Crystal Lake Carey Gaynes: I tried switching dentists, but this was a very odd first visit. Alas, I’ll be going back to my previous dentist—if for no other reason than we both agree that we’re currently living in the year 2025. I only had one appointment here, and I don’t want to be mean—especially since they asked for this review—but on multiple concerns I raised and questions I asked about my dental health, the responses from Dr. Kay felt surprisingly outdated. Not in a charming, old-school way—in a “wait, is this still how we’re doing things?” kind of way. The staff was warm and lovely. The whole experience felt like being offered a rotary phone at an Apple Store—kind of quaint, kind of confusing. But if you’re looking for a dentist who’s kept up with current research and cosmetic options, this may not be the right fit. ___________________ Ps, Hey, Doc! You CAN apply MI Paste (or MI Paste Plus, the version with fluoride) to your teeth and wear a retainer over it to prolong contact, and MANY DENTISTS actually recommend this exact method for patients with weakened enamel, early cavities, or sensitivity. What Happens When You Use MI Paste with a Retainer Overnight: •   Extended contact = more benefit. Keeping MI Paste on your teeth longer (like 8 hours under a retainer) allows the calcium, phosphate, and fluoride to deeply remineralize enamel. •   Saliva dilution is reduced. Normally, saliva washes paste away in minutes. A retainer helps trap it where it’s needed. •   Sensitivity reduction. Many people notice less tooth sensitivity after doing this consistently. ⸻ What MI Paste Actually Does: 1. Rebuilds Enamel: •   Your teeth are constantly losing and gaining minerals through everyday things—eating, drinking, brushing, even breathing. •   MI Paste delivers calcium and phosphate, the two key building blocks of enamel, right where your teeth need it most—on weakened or demineralized areas. 2. Protects Against Cavities: •   Those calcium and phosphate ions help reverse early signs of tooth decay (like white spots or rough enamel). •   If you’re using MI Paste Plus, it also contains fluoride, which teams up with calcium and phosphate to make enamel more acid-resistant. 3. Reduces Tooth Sensitivity: •   Exposed dentin or weakened enamel can make your teeth sting when you eat or drink hot, cold, or sweet things. •   MI Paste plugs microscopic holes and strengthens the surface, helping to reduce sensitivity. 4. Neutralizes Acids in Your Mouth: •   The paste’s formula helps buffer acids caused by bacteria, soda, sugar, coffee, etc., which means it can also help balance your oral pH and reduce risk of erosion.
McHenry Dental Associates - McHenry Maura Simms: Had a great first visit. The staff are personable, helpful, and professional, and Dr. Shah is as lovely as she is brilliant. So glad to have found them. Convenient location too!
