1 /5 Sky Ayalla-Schock: Updated to add: This dental practice has an endless flow of 1 star reviews. Wow. I didnt even realize. I guess its a good thing they turned me away. The call center really needs to update their information. They tell you they accept your insurance and then you show up and find out they dont. I came for an EMERGENCY and was turned away and they werent really that apologetic at all. They say it happens all the time.....like what???..... to top it off, that time I spent driving there I could have been being seen for my EMERGENCY by someone else. Absolutely ridiculous. Extremely unprofessional making people suffer in pain longer than they need to because their company cant get it together. Outrageous.

1 /5 Jenna Fogel: Ended up going to another dentist. This place is trash. Doctor is arrogant. I went in for gum pain and at first they had the wrong chart up so the lady started looking at and doing stuff to my teeth asking where my inplants were…. I don’t have any. First red flag was starting to treat me with the wrong persons X-rays and chart. Second. I was left in the room for 15 mins then someone came to clean the room and told me I could go. They left me back there. I was so flustered i went to the front desk to see why I was not spoken to or nothing. The lady asked the people in the back and they had decided to share my information with my mother and not me… I’m 22 years old. I did not give them permission to discuss with any family members. Pretty much a violation of hippa. Overall horrible experience and they didn’t even check me out properly. I am afraid to go back so I found another place.

No one could answer simple question about my children’s eligibility to be patients at their office (my daughter was 7 at the time). Turns out they could see her but it took me calling multiple times to get the answer because no one would follow up as they said they would. Time for the second appointments, and the morning of, the appointments are canceled not by phone or text, but by email sent at 10am. I had to call to try to reschedule their cleanings and I was told the earliest appt is 3.5 months from now. No offer to add them to a waitlist or work with me on getting them in earlier.

5 /5 Becky w: Dental Works is great! Weve been going here for years. The staff and Doctors are great! We began bringing our son ( whos now 8) there a couple years ago, and they do a great job with him as well. The new Dr. ( as of 2023) is wonderful with the kids. She has a good bedside manner with the kiddos.

1 /5 Deb Hamilton: I had a hard time w dentist Dr Bibbar. She refused to clean my teeth because she felt I needed a deep cleaning for 1 tooth n would be charging an xtra $154 to do. I was going out of town w/in 12 hrs n didn’t want any pain. She said No and would not let me have the reg cleaning n come back for the 1 tooth. So needless to say they took 18 X-rays full month that she also said I had to have. Then told me after I requested to speak to her again after I was sitting there a long time waiting again for someone to come in,she wouldn’t be cleaning my teeth that day. I was so upset I paid my co pay n left. She was also demanding a release from a dr from a previous surgery over a year ago. Which I told her I didn’t need. It was a mess. I had never been treated like that before in my life. Won’t be going back. Now I need to figure out how I can get my teeth cleaned n get a second opinion on work needing to be done.

Dartmoor Dental - Crystal Lake Nikole Brangenberg: Highly recommend! I never leave reviews but my front teeth were damaged after an accident and he had to reconstruct all of it. With it being such a critical space I was very nervous. Dr. Dave made my teeth look better than they were before the accident. Nothing but smiles over here!! I can’t say enough nice things about the quality of work and the staff. Welcoming, Warm and Friendly. Doreen always makes you feel right at home! 12/10!

Alas, I’ll be going back to my previous dentist—if for no other reason than we both agree that we’re currently living in the year 2025. I only had one appointment here, and I don’t want to be mean—especially since they asked for this review—but on multiple concerns I raised and questions I asked about my dental health, the responses from Dr. Kay felt surprisingly outdated. Not in a charming, old-school way—in a “wait, is this still how we’re doing things?” kind of way. The staff was warm and lovely. The whole experience felt like being offered a rotary phone at an Apple Store—kind of quaint, kind of confusing. Cary Family Dental - Cary David LaBuda: Dr. Patel is awesome. My previous dentist told me that my teeth were a lost cause and that he would not work on them anymore, unless I let him pull them all out and give me a set of false teeth. Dr.Patel with a combination of fillings and crowns to save existing teeth as well as implants to replace missing teeth, provided me most importantly functional and pain free teeth, but also as an added benifit better looking teeth. Thank you Dr. Patel !

Family Roots Dentistry - McHenry Cindy Walker: I just had my first visit as a new patient at Family Roots Dentistry where I was seen by Dr. Mike and one of the hygienists there, Tiffany. Tiffany was so friendly and welcoming. She was so good at making the effort to understand what made me unique as a patient. She was meticulous and thorough in her care but also kept me very comfortable. She has such a nice touch with her instruments! Dr Mike was wonderful! He really listens and is very understanding about special needs and concerns. He is friendly but also calm and confident and you can tell that confidence is coming from extensive knowledge of dentistry beyond the usual. From the start to the finish of my visit I felt very much welcomed and cared for and knew my care was in very good hands!

Crystal Lake Dental Associates - Crystal Lake Lisa Sadowski: The dentists are very caring and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable here and they make things easy. My only suggestion would be the last dental hygienist that I had a few days ago kind of rushed me when I needed to have the water suction out of my mouth. I told her that had a gag reflex and needed to remove all the Degree out of my mouth before she continued cleaning my teeth, but it seemed like much of the time she removed it before I wanted it removed . I hadn’t had this issue with the other hygienist. The dentist is very caring and knowledgeable and patient

Compassionate Dental Care - Lake in the Hills deathblack85: First off going in is ok. I was asked my occupation 3 or 4 times (If you include the questionnaire they give you). Came for basic cleaning but came out for a quote for deep cleaning $1680. I came early and was the only one in the lobby but I had to wait 1 hour and half just to exam my teeth and gum. Not sure because I’m new but felt scammed. After everything is done, they told me they don’t have time for basic routine cleaning. Don’t go here unless you like giving your money away!

She really spent a lot of time explaining everything she was doing. She and Dr. Aliker came up with a personalized treatment plan to best suit my needs.
