5 /5 Emma Phillips: Dr. Dietz was absolutely amazing. He took such good care of my baby and alleviated all of our fears about getting our son’s tongue tie fixed. He only took 5 minutes and our baby is recovering wonderfully!

1 /5 Guillermo Alanis: My wife confirmed an appointment for my son by phone, then she took it the date and time agreed. The receptionists are extremely rude with her and told her that they did not see the appointment that she confirmed with them the day before. They were extremely rude throughout this interactions. Because of that we are planning not to take our kids there. They do not treat people respectfully. Update 2/25: My wife received a message that my kids future appointments were canceled because of my Google review. I think that is a very bad way to improve costumer satisfaction, instead of calling or messaging on what they can improve. As I stated in this review we were already planning to take them to a different dentist, but business should strive to improve.

I have a back tooth that is infected and causing pain in not only my mouth my my whole face radiates.. I waited months appointment to just pull the one tooth so the severe pain will stop. Asked if I could be a few minutes late for my appointment NEXT WEEK and she literally said “oh that sucks, hope everything works out for you.” I love Dr Kelly so much and she recommended me this dentist office but I will would rather pull the tooth out myself and go to the hospital then try and make another appointment with chestnut dental!!!!! So irritating that I’m in so much pain and they don’t care.

Sarah Sroka: My children see Dr. Hall and he is great with them. My daughter had to have general anesthesia for some work when she was 3 because of her unwillingness to sit in the chair. He has been nothing but patient, even when she screams for a cleaning. Well his patience paid off because yesterday, at 6 years old, she sat in the chair to repair her chipped tooth in the front. He explains everything in a kid friendly way. I can’t thank him and his assistants enough! :)

Matt H: I had seen Dr. Dan Steadman all my life. I have known no other dentist. I went and saw Dr. Young at his recommendation when retiring and I dont think I could have been more dissatisfied. The last time I saw her was in late 2020. I immediately encountered some issues, first with their appointment process and then with their payment process. I was told that while they took the State of IL Delta Dental insurance, that Id need to pay for the services at the time they were provided, and would be reimbursed by Delta Dental at a later time. Its now 2024 and I have yet to see a single thing from Delta Dental. As far as I could tell, they didnt bother submitting anything and could have, for all I know, pocketed money from me AND the insurance. The staff was rude when needing to re-schedule or when setting a new appointment. The tech I had was extremely aggressive with the cleaning, and all around a polar opposite of Dr. Dans staff and care provided. I was in the process of confirming a visit with another dentist when I looked up the reviews for Dr. Young. I cannot recommend this dentist and now I dont have my records to give to another dentist and dont really feel like calling this office and putting up with the frustration that will come from that.
