Shayla, the hygienist was so thorough and had top notch bedside manners. Her front desk were friendly and efficient. They got me into a cancelation appt as requested. Im so happy I found this dentist and Im fortunate its not far away from my home.

I happened to drive down Main after thinking about finding a dentist, saw her name on the sign, called, spoke to Krissy (I think thats her name), she answered all my questions, and I got an appointment. From walking in each person was friendly, spent time explaining what they were about to do and what it meant when done, and answered all my questions from xrays to financing and scheduling sequences. Dr. McGinnis is friendly, thorough, and willing to spend time explaining processes, outcomes, xrays, and she listens. I am grateful for their care and attention after so many years of needing a dentist. I found one that works for me, and I recommend her and the great women on her staff.

5 /5 Susan Palmer: It has been YEARS since I went to a dentist. It had gotten to the point where I was too embarrassed to go. My friend was talking about Dr. Katharine McGinnis and how wonderful she was. Well I decided to see for my self. It wasn’t just her, but her whole office team that is special. I never once felt embarrassed. They gave me hope. With my very first procedure, I felt more confidant than I had in years. Who would have thought going to the dentist would do that. I no longer hide my mouth with my hand. And if you are worried about pain, well, I had none. None. I highly recommend making an appointment. Even if it has been years. I actually look forward now to going for my appointment. I am so glad I went.

Edwardsville Oral Surgery and Implant Center - Edwardsville Dana: 10/10 experience! Had to get 4 wisdom teeth plus an extra tooth out during surgery, great people. Always made sure i was comfortable and my healing process was great: not much swelling at all & very little pain :) compared to my friends’ experiences at other oral surgery centers, mine was the best!

Harvey H Breckner DMD MS - Edwardsville Michael Hurt: I highly recommend anyone in the area see Dr. Breckner. The office is very nice and clean and everyone I worked with there was wonderful. I initially went to Dr. Breckner for a root canal and subsequently for regular cleanings. He identified some structural issues with my bite and put a plan in place to remediate those issues. It wasnt cheap, but he and his team worked with me to provide a solution I could afford and scheduled procedures to ensure my insurance would cover the maximum amount. The procedures and cleanings themselves always went well and I always felt comfortable because everyone I worked with was friendly and made it a point to communicate exactly what they were doing and why.

Troy Family Dental - Troy G R: Where do I start. Honestly I am shocked they are still in business. Years ago my wife and I went to Boatman not knowing that he has the nickname the “root canal king”. First time I went. I was told I needed three root canals. I trusted him. Had them done. Even with both my wife and I having the best dental insurance, I had to pay a ton of money out of pocket. Later found out they were billing both our insurances for the same work and billing me too. Their pricing was three times as much as everyone else. One of the crowns he installed was ground down so much that it had the gold underlayment showing through. As soon as I got in my car I saw it and went back in. Boatman’s daughter was rudely arguing with me that because it was a molar tooth this is normal. No way this was normal. After 15 minutes of back and forth, Boatman got involved and ordered a new one. I didn’t know any better and went back a second time. Told me I needed three more root canals. This time I declined and went to another dentist. I had exrays done by the second dentist and told nothing was wrong with any of my teeth!!! My wife has the same experience with shoddy work and extremely high pricing. She also was tried to be sold multiple root canals that were not needed. We stopped going. An ex employee told us that he even hired a company to do great reviews to cover up the bad ones. I would strongly recommend you get a second opinion on any work if you don’t trust the real reviews. I would also look at what you are being charged and what is being billed to your insurance.

Dr. Hal R. Patton, DDS - Edwardsville Fluffy Kittens: Dr. Hal is the best. His staff is friendly and helpful. He practices with honesty and compassion. Unlike other dentists, you can be sure that treatments he recommends are for the benefit of the patients needs. I have difficult teeth from a bad childhood dentist. If it werent for him, I literally wouldnt have any teeth. You will be in safe hands with him and his staff.

Bauer Hite Orthodontic Specialists - Edwardsville Hannah B: I had a very pleasant experience! Length of braces went as promised. I actually got them off a couple months sooner. Very friendly staff and always accommodating with appointments. I also like that there’s a payment plan option that worked for us. The office itself is very family friendly. It’s nice that as an adult they don’t make you feel any different when a lot of the patients are little kiddos as well.
