april hollmann: ⭐️⭐️ (2 stars) I called Meineke hoping to get our air conditioner looked at the same day since our regular mechanic was booked out. Brandon was very friendly and told me they could at least take a look if I dropped it off for the day, which I appreciated. After dropping it off, I got a call shortly after quoting $900 for a recharge, which seemed extremely high. A quick online search and confirmation from our usual mechanic (who quoted no more than $350 for the same service) confirmed that it was well above the typical range. I declined the AC service but asked them to go ahead with an oil change and new windshield wipers. Later that afternoon, we called to check in and were told they didn’t get to the car at all, so we ended up just picking it up without any work being done. While the staff was polite, we won’t be returning. Advice for others: Definitely price check services ahead of time and don’t expect same-day turnaround, even if they say they’ll “take a look.”
