The doctor listened to my concerns and addressed them in a manner I could understand. The office staff was efficient and very patient. I highly recommend them.

Dr Evans and his assistant explained everything that was going on with my tooth and how the procedure would go, and I was in and out within an hour. I highly recommend E of I ! 5 /5 Brittany Lamb: Dr. Swaar and his team were incredible from start to finish. I drove an hour to visit this office because it came highly recommended to me, and now I completely understand why. They got me in early, made me feel totally at ease, and turned a usually dreaded root canal into a surprisingly pleasant experience. I had absolutely no pain during or after the procedure, which honestly shocked me because I always put these off out of fear. Everyone in the office was kind, professional, and genuinely cared. I’ve already recommended him to several people and will keep doing so—if you ever need a root canal, don’t think twice. Go here! 10/10

My 13-year-old daughter had a great experience with a consultation with Dr. Swaar and a root canal with Dr. Evans. The staff are also very knowledgeable and made the entire experience great!

5 /5 Dave Schlabowske: Referred here just to obtain 3D X-rays of a particular tooth. Very nice office and exceptionally friendly staff. After the X-ray I had a consultation with the Doc and found out I needed a root canal, of which I had never had one before. He told me there was an opening immediately if I chose to continue, but stories heard from other people about their experiences elsewhere made me hesitant. But I agreed to proceed and let me say the entire experience was actually pretty awesome. Totally pain free and actually better than getting a filling. So yeah, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Chestnut Family Dental - Bloomington Marissa Tyler: Don’t have an emergency.. because they will make you call every day to find a cancellation! I have a back tooth that is infected and causing pain in not only my mouth my my whole face radiates.. I waited months appointment to just pull the one tooth so the severe pain will stop. Asked if I could be a few minutes late for my appointment NEXT WEEK and she literally said “oh that sucks, hope everything works out for you.” I love Dr Kelly so much and she recommended me this dentist office but I will would rather pull the tooth out myself and go to the hospital then try and make another appointment with chestnut dental!!!!! So irritating that I’m in so much pain and they don’t care.

Dr. Janet Bardell - Bloomington Lucy Mardis: I do not like to go to the dentist and was very comfortable with Dr Cunningham. Dr Bardwell took over his practice and I was hesitant about a “new” dentist. She is gentle, knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend her office to anyone looking for dental care, especially anyone who dreads the drill!

Pediatric Smiles Of Bloomington - Bloomington Sarah Sroka: My children see Dr. Hall and he is great with them. My daughter had to have general anesthesia for some work when she was 3 because of her unwillingness to sit in the chair. He has been nothing but patient, even when she screams for a cleaning. Well his patience paid off because yesterday, at 6 years old, she sat in the chair to repair her chipped tooth in the front. He explains everything in a kid friendly way. I can’t thank him and his assistants enough! :)

Jill S Young DMD - Normal Matt H: I had seen Dr. Dan Steadman all my life. I have known no other dentist. I went and saw Dr. Young at his recommendation when retiring and I dont think I could have been more dissatisfied. The last time I saw her was in late 2020. I immediately encountered some issues, first with their appointment process and then with their payment process. I was told that while they took the State of IL Delta Dental insurance, that Id need to pay for the services at the time they were provided, and would be reimbursed by Delta Dental at a later time. Its now 2024 and I have yet to see a single thing from Delta Dental. As far as I could tell, they didnt bother submitting anything and could have, for all I know, pocketed money from me AND the insurance. The staff was rude when needing to re-schedule or when setting a new appointment. The tech I had was extremely aggressive with the cleaning, and all around a polar opposite of Dr. Dans staff and care provided. I was in the process of confirming a visit with another dentist when I looked up the reviews for Dr. Young. I cannot recommend this dentist and now I dont have my records to give to another dentist and dont really feel like calling this office and putting up with the frustration that will come from that.

Dr. Jeffrey Jones - Normal Erin Crider: Dr. Jones has been my dentist for all my life. He is very kind, always there to listen and hes never in a hurry. He has a nice and caring staff that creates a very comfortable atmosphere. I have never had any problems and highly recommend Dr. Jeff Jones.
