My dentist for the last 30 + years is retiring and I needed to find a new dentist that accepts my dental insurance. I need special treatment since I was treated for Tongue Cancer and due to radiation treatments. I have seen Dr Koshiya 2 times and find her very caring and professional. But, the best part is Amy is her assistant.

5 /5 Michael Farmer: A patient since 2013. Had major dental issues: absesses, gum disease and failing teeth. Thanks to Dr. Stern, his support team of hygenists, oral surgeons and a great dental lab, not to forget the front desk, nor the man with the greatest memory and laugh, Dr. Randy Halihan himself, I can finally smile with confidence and without pain or discomfort. 2 /5 Julia Miller: We have been coming here for seven years, and sadly will be leaving. Note the lack of reviews from past year-Service has gone down. I had a teeth cleaning today (after waiting 10 months due to “lack of scheduling availability”). I prefer to come every six months as my insurance recommends, but that will not happen at this office. They are booking out 9 to 10 months in between cleanings. Be prepared to not fully use your insurance benefits at this office. The hygienist noted how much buildup I had after not coming in for so long, yet did not even clean my top teeth after she fell ill mid-cleaning my teeth. I understand that things happen and people can fall ill at any time, but she was feeling unwell and left while I was still in the chair and it took quite a while before anyone came over. Finally, one other hygienist came over and wanted to immediately start polishing my teeth. When I explained to her that my teeth had not even been scraped for tartar yet, she left and said the other woman would return shortly. After 10 minutes, the original hygienist returned and I was rushed through the remainder of the cleaning. To top it off, I did not even get a comprehensive exam from the dentist. (Did not check tongue tissue, lymph nodes, etc.) He told me to get a electric toothbrush, and sent me on my way. Sad to leave, but this office is not what it used to be.

5 /5 Peggy Kelton: Wonderful experience for my 10 yr old son who needed a tooth extracted. Dr. Stern was fabulous and calm and made my son feel at ease. He was able to give him Novocain with really no pain, by taking his time and reassuring my son there would be none. My son was pleasantly surprised and now has no fear of going to the dentist at all. The staff and hygienists are welcoming and pleasant and try to be accommodating with scheduling for my family. I highly recommend them.

5 /5 Brad: I have been with them for about 10 years and still continue to recommend them as the best dentist in the area. They are friendly warm and honest about what needs to be done. They are always upfront and keep you informed. They have TVs to watch and they even have upgraded to nice relaxing massage chairs during your treatment. They even have a great facility for children. This place has grown and you might not always get doctor Halihan, but you will be well taken care of and the warm presence of Dr. Halihan runs through this dentistry. I highly recommend this family dentistry.
