5 /5 Nikhil Sreekumar: I had the pleasure of visiting the museum and was thoroughly impressed. I parked in the north garage, which had a flat rate of $32. The four-hour visit flew by and I could have spent more time exploring if not for the museums closing. The museum boasts several captivating exhibits, with the dinosaur section being a particular standout. The sheer size of the displayed fossils and their excellent preservation were truly astounding. Another highlight was the Egyptian section, featuring a remarkable collection of mummies and informative, valuable artifacts. Bird enthusiasts will find a paradise in the extensive bird exploration section. While these were my favorites, there are numerous other sections to discover. To truly appreciate all that this museum has to offer, I would recommend dedicating an entire day to your visit.

5 /5 Susan Wilke: This is a fantastic museum. We spent 6 hours and still didnt see quite everything! Of course, the dinosaurs are amazing!! Take a little time to watch the video by Sue the T-Rex. Its really cool. The interactive stations in there are fun as well. The underground exhibit was really interesting too! The exhibits with all the taxidermied animals were wonderful also. It was neat to really be able to look closely at creatures that you usually see from afar or never usually see. Definitely plan to spend your day here. It is wonderful!! Kids will love it too!! (Lots of water refill stations & restrooms scattered throughout which I appreciated very much.)

5 /5 R. Michael Burns: Simply one of the best natural history museums anywhere. The exhibition on evolution was particularly great, running step-by-step through the fossil record and DNA connections from the beginnings of single-cell life to the present. The animals of the world exhibit is amazing, as is the collection of fossils -- not JUST Sue the T-Rex, though she is well worth visiting. There is so much to see that even if you dont do any of the separately-ticketed exhibits, a full day is hardly enough. Love this place!

5 /5 chris raven: World class museum with many ever-changing exhibits. You can spend pretty much a whole day here. I always enjoy the the T-Rex and the totem poles. Also interesting is the room with all the gems (gold, emerald, jade, etc) if you are an Illinois resident they sometimes have free days

4 /5 Jason Neel: The Field Museum is an incredible place with amazing exhibits and so much to see! The main exhibits were absolutely fascinating, and we were blown away by the depth of history and detail in the collections. The museum itself is well-maintained and easy to navigate, making for a great visit overall. That said, we did pay for all the extra ticketed exhibitions, and unfortunately, some didn’t quite meet our expectations. For example, the Underground Adventure and the 3D movie felt like they could have been great, but the experience was affected by the staff running those areas—their attitudes weren’t the most welcoming, which took away from the experience. It wasn’t that the content was bad, but the lack of enthusiasm from the staff made it feel like we didn’t quite get the value we were hoping for. On the other hand, the front desk staff and ticketing office were awesome! They were friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze, which we really appreciated. Overall, we still highly recommend visiting the Field Museum—it’s a must-see in Chicago! Just be mindful of which extra exhibits you choose to add on.
