Soon you sit in chair they dip your feet in the water barely get wet. Linda soak your feet so she can make sure she able to get all the dead skin from your crutical and heel.. I love here services she render..I highly recommend First Nailshop Linda is here NAME....

Ive been in Chicago for 2 years and have not had good experiences in my search for a nail salon in the city that provides quality nail services AND good customer service until I started going to 1st nails. I have long natural nails, so Linda, her daughter, and the other nail tech (cant remember her name, sorry!) all do a great job with making sure my natural nail is cared for & healthy - they dont drill my fingers to death, they make sure I am satisfied with the shape, and they never have an attitude if I ask them to fix something. Great customer service and great nail salon!

INDIA MCFARLANE: I appreciate the cleanliness of the salon and that the salon handles appointments professionally. Ive been going to Lina for over a year and she is simply the best! She has very strong attention to detail, makes sure my nails are healthy, does not drill them down too much, and does amazing event nails when you want something fancier. She does a dip mani for me once a month and it lasts the whole month, never chips or breaks. Highly recommend!

Sofia Greggio: This is my first time ever leaving a one-star review. I’ve never felt so small and speechless at a nail salon before. I came in and the front desk girl was very nice, she even helped me pick out what color I wanted. She was lovely. The manager sat me down and asked if I wanted anything to drink. He was a bit gruff, but he was also busy. All good so far. Then a lady named Diamond came over and started working on my hands. I was a bit nervous because I was trying dip for the first time and didn’t want it to look too big on my small nail beds. Not only was she impatient, but she snapped at me multiple times when I couldn’t understand her. One nail was so crooked that I asked her multiple times to fix it and she refused. The most she did was take the file and pretend to file it with no change. They ended up looking too big and bulky, and I was on the verge of tears the whole appointment because I was too afraid to ask her to file them down again.

Unfortunately, this is the result of my second nail appointment at the salon and I was and am still speechless. I told the nail technician that I didn’t like them (what else do you say when your $55 nail appointment looks like this?) and she blamed it on the color and told me to choose another color. My new manicure still has yellow on the cuticles and looks like someone decided to prank me while doing my nails. A few weeks ago, Scott did a phenomenal job with my nail extension + dip powder nail appointment; however, Vivian really disappointed me. I will not be coming back.
