5 /5 Madelyn Alexander: $60 for a special effect gel polish with a $15 tip. My first time here and everyone was so sweet and efficient. Literally a perfect manicure except for one little bubble on my thumb but that definitely could have been my fault. I’m so obsessed! Fair price for downtown and very quick service. Booked same day, I called about an hour and a half ahead of my appointment. Amazing! I’m so in love love love! I will definitely come back for my next manicure. Tina was amazing, she took great care of my natural nails and shaped them perfectly, checked with me before and after each step to make sure I liked it, and was just the type of service I like. She even took the time to shape my very much smaller pinkie, which other nail techs can’t seem to do well but Tina slayed. I have nothing bad to say except I’d love to get more complex manicures and I wasn’t sure how complex their nail artists can get. But I can’t wait to come back!

My daughter’s GelX nails came out beautifully and my pedicure and eyebrows services were Great! I highly recommend Gina’s Magic Nails!

5 /5 Mihika Sajip: Was my first time at Gina’s salon and I am a happy customer! It was a short wait past my appointment time because of the number of customers present. But since i went in after work, i had nowhere to be. So, not complaining! Ice (sorry if I’m spelling her name wrong) did a wonderful job and was very sweet. I’m not regular with manicures.. so she walked me through the process with each step, which I thought was very nice of her! Gina was also lovely during the small interactions i had with her. I’ll definitely be coming back, and hopefully bringing some friends too!

I dont get my nails done hardly ever so she took extra care to show me the different options for my gelx extensions and some colors i was thinking about. I was very nervous walking in but she took great care of me and looking forward to going back. We Landed on white pearl chrome for my wedding and absolutely love them!

Orleans Nails and Spa - Chicago Maria Logas: I’ve been coming here for three years now and they always do a fantastic job! The whole staff is very kind. I had a broken nail and they were able to fit me in and fix my nail for no extra fee! Truly a great nail salon

West Loop Nails Spa - Chicago INDIA MCFARLANE: I appreciate the cleanliness of the salon and that the salon handles appointments professionally. Ive been going to Lina for over a year and she is simply the best! She has very strong attention to detail, makes sure my nails are healthy, does not drill them down too much, and does amazing event nails when you want something fancier. She does a dip mani for me once a month and it lasts the whole month, never chips or breaks. Highly recommend!

Vickies Nail Salon - Chicago Sofia Greggio: This is my first time ever leaving a one-star review. I’ve never felt so small and speechless at a nail salon before. I came in and the front desk girl was very nice, she even helped me pick out what color I wanted. She was lovely. The manager sat me down and asked if I wanted anything to drink. He was a bit gruff, but he was also busy. All good so far. Then a lady named Diamond came over and started working on my hands. I was a bit nervous because I was trying dip for the first time and didn’t want it to look too big on my small nail beds. Not only was she impatient, but she snapped at me multiple times when I couldn’t understand her. One nail was so crooked that I asked her multiple times to fix it and she refused. The most she did was take the file and pretend to file it with no change. They ended up looking too big and bulky, and I was on the verge of tears the whole appointment because I was too afraid to ask her to file them down again.

I was ready for the change in salons and switching away from fake nails. I have been going to Amy for a few months and could not be happier. I have long healthy nails and the dip never cracks, chips, or feels too thick.

Unfortunately, this is the result of my second nail appointment at the salon and I was and am still speechless. I told the nail technician that I didn’t like them (what else do you say when your $55 nail appointment looks like this?) and she blamed it on the color and told me to choose another color. My new manicure still has yellow on the cuticles and looks like someone decided to prank me while doing my nails. A few weeks ago, Scott did a phenomenal job with my nail extension + dip powder nail appointment; however, Vivian really disappointed me. I will not be coming back.

7AM NailCare (Streeterville) - Chicago Suzanne Rens: I absolutely love this salon! First of all, it doesn’t have that strong, typical nail salon smell when you walk in, which is such a nice change. The whole place is super clean, and everyone is so friendly. I waited to write this review to really test how my nails held up, and I’m impressed! I got BIAB done by Nomi, and my nails lasted an amazing 3 weeks. As a personal trainer, I’m pretty tough on my hands—I’m constantly washing them and working with equipment—but they still looked fantastic (just got really long!). The second photo is my fresh set from today, and I’m obsessed. Thank you so much, Nomi! Highly recommend!
