1 /5 Lauren Shoe: 0 stars if I could. This dude caused my dental anxiety to return worse than it’s ever been. I appreciated him getting me in quickly due to a dental emergency; however, basic empathy would have been appreciated. Nothing like being stabbed in infected gums several times without any numbing gel. And then looking in my mouth for less than 10 seconds at a follow up appointment when I had serious concerns was the last straw. I’d look elsewhere.

5 /5 Lauren Moore: My son had his wisdom teeth out yesterday and Dr. Hyten has exceeded our expectations. The office staff is very kind and helpful. Cost was explained upfront. The procedure was quick and painless. My son loved Dr. Hyten and he made him very comfortable with the procedure. He is recovering very well. I wouldn’t take my family anywhere else. The office even called this morning to check on him!

5 /5 cristy dalton: I found Dr. Hyten to be very kind and explained everything to me. I have a super hard time getting numb on the lower, but he was able to and I didn’t feel a thing. The staff was also kind to me. Thank you Dr. Hyten, I would definitely come back if I ever need another wisdom tooth exttacted.

5 /5 Britni Ruiz: My husband had 4 wisdom teeth extracted less than a week ago. Everyone from the office staff to Dr. Hyten and his support staff have just been amazing. They gave me the estimate over the phone since we dont have insurance and were paying out of pocket. They were accurate (ended up being less actually). They got us in quickly due to a cancellation and contacted the dentist who referred us to send over the stays they had taken. The procedure took about an hour and were extremely thourough in explaining follow up care. Dr. Hyten is available after hours for questions and concerns-which we utilized. He was super sweet and helpful. They called 4 days after surgery to see how things were going. We went back in today to check on everything as my husband thought he had food stuck. They irrigated the month and told him everything looks good and is healing. Would definitely go back again for oral surgery needs.

Always made sure i was comfortable and my healing process was great: not much swelling at all & very little pain :) compared to my friends’ experiences at other oral surgery centers, mine was the best!

Harvey H Breckner DMD MS - Edwardsville Michael Hurt: I highly recommend anyone in the area see Dr. Breckner. The office is very nice and clean and everyone I worked with there was wonderful. I initially went to Dr. Breckner for a root canal and subsequently for regular cleanings. He identified some structural issues with my bite and put a plan in place to remediate those issues. It wasnt cheap, but he and his team worked with me to provide a solution I could afford and scheduled procedures to ensure my insurance would cover the maximum amount. The procedures and cleanings themselves always went well and I always felt comfortable because everyone I worked with was friendly and made it a point to communicate exactly what they were doing and why.

Troy Family Dental - Troy G R: Where do I start. Honestly I am shocked they are still in business. Years ago my wife and I went to Boatman not knowing that he has the nickname the “root canal king”. First time I went. I was told I needed three root canals. I trusted him. Had them done. Even with both my wife and I having the best dental insurance, I had to pay a ton of money out of pocket. Later found out they were billing both our insurances for the same work and billing me too. Their pricing was three times as much as everyone else. One of the crowns he installed was ground down so much that it had the gold underlayment showing through. As soon as I got in my car I saw it and went back in. Boatman’s daughter was rudely arguing with me that because it was a molar tooth this is normal. No way this was normal. After 15 minutes of back and forth, Boatman got involved and ordered a new one. I didn’t know any better and went back a second time. Told me I needed three more root canals. This time I declined and went to another dentist. I had exrays done by the second dentist and told nothing was wrong with any of my teeth!!! My wife has the same experience with shoddy work and extremely high pricing. She also was tried to be sold multiple root canals that were not needed. We stopped going. An ex employee told us that he even hired a company to do great reviews to cover up the bad ones. I would strongly recommend you get a second opinion on any work if you don’t trust the real reviews. I would also look at what you are being charged and what is being billed to your insurance.
