Solo Salon - Elizabeth - Chicago John Kapps: Don’t get me wrong. Colby is very friendly, but she absolutely butchered my hair with the God-damned texturizing shears. And when another stylist agreed to give me a crew cut instead, they still charged me nearly $70, and I still had to shape it with my own clippers and trimmers myself.

She was absolutely amazing to work with and she made me feel very special! She listened to what my inspiration for my wedding day and she went above and beyond to make it happen! I Love my hair color and the way the colors capture light to make it look very natural! Thank you Megan at Salon 833 for making my day! ❤️

Zeza Hair Salon & Spa - Chicago Amelia Santa Cruz: I love this salon. Al does a wonderful job. I’m always getting compliments on how good my hair looks. Edit: I used to love this salon. I made an appointment to have my bangs touched up, a service they have always offered for free since I get my hair cut there. Upon walking in I was told by Al he didn’t have time for me. His wife had to come out and explain I had called and made an appointment. I should have left. He proceeded to talk to another client about how annoying it was to do work where he didn’t make a lot of money then bragged about buying luxury cars for all his children, which they then totaled. He punished them by buying them more cars? He was rude while cutting my bangs and then proceeded to charge me $15 telling me it would have been free if I get my hair cut there…which I have multiple times. Very rude and bad service. I don’t care how good you are at what you do, I don’t deserve to be treated like human garbage and charged for it because you’re having a bad day. Other reviews make sense now and I won’t be back.

Phenix Salon Suites - Chicago Molly Vimont: I went to Miko at The Waxing Boutique today and she was great! It was my first time getting waxed, but she made me feel right at ease. I was super comfortable with her knowing that she has 15 years of experience doing this. Her suite was very nice, and the building has just been renovated. Thanks Miko, Ill be back!
