  • Nail Lounge - Machesney Park Kelly R: The place was clean and able to get us in right away, so that was a plus. They didnt do a good job on my nails, but the other persons looked fine. After talking me into upgrading what I wanted to spend more money, I actually got less coverage of my nail. I asked about it during the process and he just looked at my nails and kept doing what he was doing. Also didnt use a cuticle pushing tool, didnt even touch my cuticles until after coloring, which is all backwards. And politics got involved which was kind of uncomfortable in a place that should be relaxing. With as many choices as we have, I will not return there. So many other better places.
    The Polish Pro - Rockford Kate Chen: Omg! if I can give more stars, I would! This the best set of nails I ever got. Leticia was super friendly and welcoming. She is amazing at her work and everyone should go to her! I support small WOMEN-Owned business and she slays the game! Additionally, I asked for her to help me create my graduation nails, and she was so open and helpful with helping me figure out what I want. Plus she is a wonderful mother and hard working business women! Definitely found a nail tech that I will go back to! You will not be disappointed! Leticia is a Queen!
    Cutting Room Salon - Rockford Michelle Marino: I just relocated to Rockford from PA and needed to find a new stylist. I was lucky enough to meet Chris C. who was amazing! She is the kindest person and very talented. I love the cut and will continue to have her do my hair. Thank you!
    Venus Nail Salon - Machesney Park Ashley Jamison: My daughter went here to get her nails done for the first time for homecoming. They were amazing and very informative on how to care for them and what to expect. They answered all her questions and didn’t try to rush through the whole thing

    Asha SalonSpa Rockford - Rockford Mercedes Colon: The young lady who assisted me on the phone and who completed my services were both very nice and helpful, but I do not like this salon. Low quality wax, small wax pots so she kept running out. Expensive prices with low quality wax, no thanks.
    Studio G 2 - Eureka Nick Goede: They treated my daughter very well. Went out of their way to make her happy.

    The Guest House Salon - Eureka Erika Adams: Bridal experience here was horrible. Communicated with the salon thoroughly to make sure they could do the style I was wanting for my wedding. Then on the day of my trial, not only could they not do the style, the hairstylist also did not style my hair really at all and charged me $120. Hairstylist was an hr late to my appt. I left the salon feeling zero confidence for my wedding day. I reached out to the owner and she did not care to make the situation right. Had to fight to get refunded for the trial and was never refunded my deposit. She did not waiver on the fact that it was nonrefundable even though her salon did not live up to any expectations. She backed her stylist and said my hair does not curl after being washed (which is sooo funny because whenever I curl my hair after blow drying it holds all day). Owner did not reply to my last message. This honestly isn’t even the half of it, overall the customer service was awful and salon is hard to get ahold of. I love to support businesses and wouldn’t normally leave a review like this, but backing your stylist over the customer when the service wasn’t event completed is wild behavior. I was extremely polite while sharing my experience with the owner, but she still implied that I was the problem rather than admitting to poor service.Sharing my experience so future brides can avoid this headache and waste of money during their wedding planning.
