    • Salon 3 one 3 & Boutique - Rockford J Califf: Teresa is the best! She is kind and very knowledgeable with her stylings. Her recommendations on what I come to her with to do to my hair are better than my ideas. Shes been flexible with my schedule, and sends me a reminder of our appointment! I so appreciate that! The salon is very tidy and it feels comfortable to be there. I even saw another stylist work her magic on her client. Wow! It was beautiful!!! You should give them a call if you are reading this review!

    Bomb Hair Designs - Rockford Camille Lawson: I am the daughter who referred my mom to a shop I get my braids done at and my mom who has hair loss from meds for seizures and ptsd she is a survivor. She was left under a dryer for over 2 hrs she was side eyed for her hair loss by not just her stylist Tay but staff. My mom left more broken then she arrived but they charged the going rate for a wig install thanks Bomb
    Laloggia Salon - Rockford Chad Appleby: I love this salon! Kayla does fantastic work. My hair hasnt looked this good in years. I wish I would have known about this place sooner. Not only do they do great work, its a classy place and very warm and inviting experience. Loved it.

    Nellys Beauty Secrets - Rockford Luisa Hernandez: I came in to get my hair dyed red. On her website, I couldnt really find what I was looking for and clicked on hair color, which was $100. I have had my hair dyed previously by another professional and still had the bleach in. I went in and the service I was looking for was about $200. I understand hair is expensive, but just a warning to those looking to go in for dye. The service wasnt terrible. There was a new girl and I really like her and she was nice! She started to do my hair and was super chill. Nelly was also nice but just made some unusual comments about my face ("we need pictures but also need makeup" "your face is greasy enough for the dye to not stick") which I just took as nellys "quirk". My hair was curled and it was another charge, got pictures taken, and went home. They were nice and gave me a shower cap since it was raining and I appreciated that. The next day, I had a horrible headache and looked at my head and it was covered in blisters. I have psoriasis but I never had that kind of reaction before. I went straight to the doctors and was given medication and told that it was a chemical burn due to the hair dye or bleach being left in and not washed out properly. I went home, washed my hair, and the blisters were gone within a couple days. Unfortunately, it did leave a bald spot. I did send her a text explaining that I would go to the doctors and update her. After hearing this, I didnt want to deal with going back and the drama. To top it off, I have had this all done a month ago. Ive had my hair dye last me 2-3 months without fading due to the products I use and my washing routine. I had already lost all of the color and Im so disappointed that I spent that amount for color that lasted just that bit. I explained to her my worries about the color fading before picture day (this past week) and she also explained that she could do a touch up. After my experience, I couldnt justify going back. I was told she gives great haircuts and she has a very loyal customer service. Shes worked hard for her clientele and I have to give her respect for that. The new person there does eyebrows and shes super nice. The other woman there does nails and she did an amazing job on others while I was there. I hope that this honest review doesnt hold people back for going to these services. I just cant justify going back for my red hair experience.

    House Of Hair - Rockford Jordan Cunningham: Robin is phenomenal! Always super helpful in making color decisions, and always does everything she can to make your hair what you dreamed of before you went in! She does my fiancé’s hair as well and neither of us have ever had a bad experience.
    Style House Seven - Rockford Kylie Pumphrey: Hands down the best my hair has ever felt and looked. They slay it Everytime!! I love the education I get about how to properly care for my hair so I can achieve what Im looking for and preserve my color better. Its been a game changer! I leave feeling so beautiful every time and its the best experience Ive ever had at a salon from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. I have found my forever salon!
