Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center - Plainfield Mary Pat Kartch: It is not easy to find good customer service, but I did today. My check engine light came on in my car. I called Tuffy and asked if someone could just look at it to tell me if it was safe to drive. I know how busy the shop is, so I knew it wouldnt be able to be serviced this fast. The man who answered said "Sure, come on in, and we will look at it." I did, they checked it out, and said a plug needed service, not immediately. I said I could set up an appointment for next week because I had a three day tournament down at Navy Pier. Mr. Floss, the mechanic, said "Ill fix it now, I dont want you driving downtown with this problem." And he did!
I was safely back on the road by the afternoon. I will be a customer forever!
