She makes my natural nail look beautiful and she listens when I tell her I don’t want thick nails or whatever my preference is. Once you tell her exactly what you like, she’ll make sure it’s delivered. Her attention to detail is magnificent.

2 /5 Jennifer Nguyen: I’m not one to leave reviews but this time I’m just so upset. I’ve been getting dip powder on my natural nails for a long time now through various nail salons and this has never happened. I have always had long nails and chose to do dip to keep them hard and strong to avoid breakage. After the first day of having them 3 of my nails broke and chipped and I went back in to get them fixed which they were nice about. Not even a day later they broke again, my nail didn’t break but the actual dip powder on top of my nail cracked and broke off leaving my bare nail and then my other nail broke. This has never happened to me before. The customer service was great and the salon was very well maintained and the pedicure service was amazing.

5 /5 Meadow Brenna: My friends nails were very short, so I took her to get Gel-X done. She said even though theyre artificial, they feel super light and dont lift at all. At other places, her nails would get brittle and only last a short time. Shes already added New Age Nail to her list of favorite salons.

2 /5 Megan Wyatt: First time coming to this salon, and I really wanted to love it because it’s so close to my job. I got dip powder with extensions, and when I’ve gotten this style from other salons, this type of manicure can last me 3 weeks, sometimes 4 weeks if I’m extra careful. The nails themself are beautiful, but after 7 days I noticed they were feeling loose, and my hair would get caught in them. Today, the 10th day with this manicure, I had one pop off. The rest of my nails definitely feel loose and like they will fall off in the coming days. I loved this set, and the woman who did my nails was quick, but the nails are not long lasting and I wish I would have checked reviews beforehand because that seems to be a trend with dip nails here. Also, when I sat down for my appointment, the nail artist asked if I would like Gel-X instead, telling me it was better for my nails and would last longer, so maybe they’re better with Gel X nails here. Would not recommend this salon for dip nails, especially considering the price vs wear time. I paid $83 before tip.

Venice Nail Spa - Chicago DeAndrea Matlock: Ive been going to Venice Nails for years now. Any expo picture I’ve shown them they have made it look the exact same… I came on my birthday yesterday and they did such a good job. They got my nails really close to the expo picture.

7AM NailCare (West Loop) - Chicago Trisha Rolandelli: Absolutely loved my pedi and mani at 7AM byBrianna- she was amazing! I dont get my nails done hardly ever so she took extra care to show me the different options for my gelx extensions and some colors i was thinking about. I was very nervous walking in but she took great care of me and looking forward to going back. We Landed on white pearl chrome for my wedding and absolutely love them!

Orleans Nails and Spa - Chicago Maria Logas: I’ve been coming here for three years now and they always do a fantastic job! The whole staff is very kind. I had a broken nail and they were able to fit me in and fix my nail for no extra fee! Truly a great nail salon

West Loop Nails Spa - Chicago INDIA MCFARLANE: I appreciate the cleanliness of the salon and that the salon handles appointments professionally. Ive been going to Lina for over a year and she is simply the best! She has very strong attention to detail, makes sure my nails are healthy, does not drill them down too much, and does amazing event nails when you want something fancier. She does a dip mani for me once a month and it lasts the whole month, never chips or breaks. Highly recommend!

Vickies Nail Salon - Chicago Sofia Greggio: This is my first time ever leaving a one-star review. I’ve never felt so small and speechless at a nail salon before. I came in and the front desk girl was very nice, she even helped me pick out what color I wanted. She was lovely. The manager sat me down and asked if I wanted anything to drink. He was a bit gruff, but he was also busy. All good so far. Then a lady named Diamond came over and started working on my hands. I was a bit nervous because I was trying dip for the first time and didn’t want it to look too big on my small nail beds. Not only was she impatient, but she snapped at me multiple times when I couldn’t understand her. One nail was so crooked that I asked her multiple times to fix it and she refused. The most she did was take the file and pretend to file it with no change. They ended up looking too big and bulky, and I was on the verge of tears the whole appointment because I was too afraid to ask her to file them down again.

Prestige Nails & Spa - Chicago Olivia Szauer: I was doing acrylic nails for years and my coworker wanted to try dip and she thought we should go together. I was ready for the change in salons and switching away from fake nails. I have been going to Amy for a few months and could not be happier. I have long healthy nails and the dip never cracks, chips, or feels too thick.
