Pine Glen Dental Group - Peoria (IL)

1 /5 Alan Lugo: One of the most expensive dentists in town, not in network for BCBS. I came here for a couple years based off a recommendation. I dont have anything negative to say about how competent they are as dentists and hygienists, but they have a policy where they wont clean your teeth if you dont pay for the expensive x-rays when they determine you need them, even though they will book your appointment and send you 10 text messages that week and never once mention that before they will do any further care on your teeth you need to get X-rays without any advance notice or any estimate of the cost of the x-rays they are forcing you to get. My last cleaning appointment i walked out because they said they would not give me my normal cleaning without taking the X-rays. Some businesses lose the feeling of care and you start to realize you are just a means of revenue passing through their scheme of the insurance system to make money. If you have insurance that pine glen is in network for then its probably fine to go here. If not, the costs of going here are just too high.

5 /5 Amee Jada: We love Pine Glen!! Office is clean and kid friendly!! Our 9 and 3 year old loved the hidden fort in the waiting area!! The hygienists were extremely friendly and made our kids feel comfortable. My husband and son saw Dr. George for their check ups and she is Amazing!! She is friendly, gentle and thorough. The staff puts the needs of the patients first and never make you feel like you have to get unnecessary treatments or procedures like some doctors offices have in our past. Driving to Peoria from Normal is worth it, to get the treatment and care level that we had at Pine Glen!

1 /5 Cydni: Clearly this place is not concerned with the importance of diversity in the workplace. Not one person of color works here, not one dental hygienist, not one records clerk not one secretary. Little to no clientele that are not white. Owners appear to satisfied with the money they are making off their traditional preferred patients than evolving into 2024.

5 /5 Kaleigh Stone: Staff was very friendly! I have a long history with oral surgeries and although my anxiety was through the roof, Dr. Rice and the hygienist showed they truly cared about my comfort through the whole procedure. I feel very comfortable at Pine Glen and know the staff genuinely care about their patients.

1 /5 Kara Faley: My children had a wonderful experience as far as dental care goes!! So I don’t want to discredit them in the least in this area. However, we were not notified that our insurance was not accepted until after all three children were seen. We were slammed with a huge bill. If you have delta dental don’t go here! I never write reviews but just don’t want others to be impacted like we were.
